I always thought that the soya bean drink in restaurants were canned ones. I didn't really want to order it, but wifey insisted that she wanted to drink soya bean. Surprisingly, the soya bean drink in Din Tai Fung tasted quite home made. It was full of soya bean flavour. The ice diluted it a bit, but it was still quite nice. It was thirst-quenching and went well with the rest of our meal.

The lo hon kor drink in Din Tai Fung was definitely done well. The lo hon kor taste was very apparent in every sip. Even though I ordered a cold one, which meant ice would be added in it. However, the taste wasn't diluted at all. I like the fact that they almost immediately serve the drink, since I was very thirsty. It was well worth the amount paid. Definitely recommended.

When this dish was first presented, I find it quite strange that the noodles were not fully submerged into the broth. Regardless, I proceeded to mix the noodles into the broth. One thing I like about this dish is that it is very full of sourness. The dish is not very spicy but it is acceptable for me. However, perhaps I do not like plain soupy noodles which makes me a little bias.The soup for this La Mien is a bit too plain and tasteless for my liking. Ordered the golden pumpkin as a friend was a very big fan of pumpkins. The golden pumpkin actually refers to deep fried pumpkin. The pumpkin were sliced into many different shapes and sizes and then deep fried. The coating of the fried pumpkin used is salted egg. The result of the dish is both slightly sweet on the inside and salty on the outside. The coating is crispy and very nice whereas the pumpkin filling is soft.This dish costs RM12.00++

This dish comes in separate plates, one is the pork chop and another is the fried rice.The fried rice is a vegetarian fried rice which has eggs and chopped long beans. Ordered the mango roll for sharing as the waiter recommended this dish to us. The mango roll is quite delicious as it is both savoury and sweet. In every cut of roll there is a prawn each and there is also a some mango bits inside. The prawns are juicy and although it is savoury, it goes very well with the mango bits and puree inside. The skin of this mango roll is quite crispy and it does a good job of keeping everything together. This dish costs RM8.30++ for 2 rolls which consists of 4 pieces

通常到鼎泰丰都会点小笼包水饺之类的。第一次朋友推荐炸猪扒炒饭,就试试看。对猪扒的基本印象就是“硬”,所以没有太大的期许。但是呢,他们家的炸猪扒片蛮薄的,但是炸了之后肉质却还是很嫩!而且很有嚼劲,就很像在吃日本黑豚肉的感觉。至于炒饭,用台湾香米煮出来的大米粒粒分明,散发着蛋香,非常好吃!虽然说单价是高了点,但是却色香味俱全,很有水准,值得推荐!

din dai fung have another outlet in ecurve here is nice to have desserts. came here early and have available tables. the crowd is really long here .the price is not cheap and i have to wait for 15 minutes to get the seats. service is ok mostly speak mandarin and the serving is fast. try the tong yun desserts with black sesame and the filling is quite full and when bite it felt soft and yummy. quite nice served hot
