After reading Boo's post on Delicious' current cupcake promo, we scrambled to Marc Residence to taste these sweet treats inspired by New York City's Magnolia Bakery. Red Velvet with cream cheese & raspberry swirl, in front of the Crazy Carrot with cream cheese. These confections have the look of Magnolia's signature creations almost perfectly right, offering a nice visual change from the usual choices at Bisou, Cupcake Chic and Cuppacakes. I find the red velvet cake at this cafe just average as it was a bit too sweet for my taste. The cheese filling was a little dry and could do with more moist texture. The red velvet filling was just sparingly distributed and I prefer more of that as it has a really nice flavour. The size of the cupcake is not too big and is good for a light snack.Delicious has quite a good range of desserts in their high tea and is worth a try.

Assortment of Finger Sandwiches and cakeI tried the High Tea platter at Delicious Cafe which has a few items worth mentioning. For the cake option, I ordered the butterscotch pecan cheese cake. This is rich and dense and has pecan nuts as topping. I love the rich cheese filling which was moist and sweetness level is bearable.The finger sandwiches were caviar and egg filling which was sufficient to bind the bread together and not too dry. Finally, to end each meal, in particular dinner meal, we will complete with a dessert. Indulged a craving for chocolate after having such a satisfying meal.Hence, we decided to order a Chocolate brownie, cost RM13.90 before tax that served with chocolate sauce with vanilla ice cream. Love the melted thick chocolate sauce on the ice-cream along with the chocolate brownie which made everyone of us speechless and in total silence to enjoy every single bite of it.

Pan-seared Cod, cost RM50.90 before tax served with Sauteed prawns on Ratatouille and fried potatoes. The portion was just nice for a person. Truly amazing with the natural sweetness from the Cod fish and complemented with Sauteed prawns on the dish. A perfect match that achieved my desire completely.Surely will return for more.

Red duck curry with Lychee, cost RM24.90 before tax. It served with steamed Kaffir rice with Pomelo Salad. From the Delieast cuisine. Creative dish, the Kaffir rice has such a good aroma and taste different than the normal rice. Love the salad as Pomelo is my favourite. Duck and lychee are also my favourite that made it a good combination. Good meal and choice.

Interior of the restaurant is certainly cool and chic. Having white and blue colour coordination that gives the impression of a restaurant by the beach. Romantic during evening and trendy during day. According to its homepage, Delicious started as a cosy tearoom in 1 Utama Shopping Centre with just a few items on its menu in 2004. Soon, the thriving café was packed to the seams with families and young professionals looking for the comfort of homemade food served up.Had grilled chicken with cream mint sauce back in December 2008 during New Year's Eve. Delicious has a good reputation for their food, beverage and service. DELIcious is located at Jalan Pinang. This restaurant is very cosy and has warm ambience. U will love it. Trust me. Their cuisines are very tasty and I would like to recommend Marsala Lamb Shank with pilaf rice & cucumber raita.
