From outside, this place looks like  a normal cafe except it is crowded to the brim on a Saturday. There were so many varieties in the menu that it left a person like me so confused and wanting to order everything especially since the price is so cheap at only RM 8 for a spaghetti/pasta with very fresh seafood. I ordered the Nyonya Seafood Spaghetti (RM 8.50) where the sauce was so unique and amazing. The prawns and also octopus were so fresh. I also ordered a Portuguese Chicken Breadbowl for only RM 6.50. The portion was big. The soup was fantastic and a tad spicy. It tasted something like sichuan soup. The bread was used as the soup bowl. The Green Tea Latte (RM 7) was just normal and not that special. It somehow lacks a strong tea flavour, perhaps because latte is not there forte though the design on the froth of a green leaf was very creative and worth the price of only RM 7, something that we cannot get from Starbucks or even Padi House which serves the best Green Tea Latte. The Peach and Fine (RM7) was alright and thankfully, not very sweet. There were some natta de coco at the bottom of the drink. It seems like the drinks are more expensive that the main meals. The pastries from fruit tarts to cheese tarts, sponge cakes, mini swiss rolls, specialty puddings were so tantalising that I felt like ordering everything! I finally ordered 1 fruit tart (strawberry, kiwi and longan), Strawberry Marine (which looks like meringue) and also a chocolate meringue tartlet  for a mere RM 2 each. We also ordered the bestseller, Island Blackforest (RM 7.50) which was not too creamy yet the taste of the dark cherries did great things to the tastebuds. I am definitely coming back here if I happen to be around this area. I guess the cheap price and tasty food indeed has drew a lot of people here. There was also one customer who was organising a birthday party. I noticed that they also serve high-served together with cute pastries on the special display plate. This is definitely a most suitable place for students.  continue reading

We used to dine-in at De Pastry Chef, PV 128. It is consider a new place for students like us to take a break or have lunch. It serves varieties of dishes and DESSERTS!It is located above Six Inch Restaurant. I personally love their desserts only. Their desserts are the BEST!!Generous amount of chocolate chips with walnuts. The sweetness of the cake was just right. It is worth a try.Lamb with spaghetti and egg on a hot sizzling pan. The tenderness of lamb was just right and spaghetti served was big in portionSpaghetti served with chicken, vegetables, tomatoes and hawaian sauce. The amount of chicken and spaghetti is enough for 2 people. Besides, it was spicy enough to make my face turns red.P/S: It is SPICY.Fried kuey teow with assorted of vegetables and shrimps. It tasted so bland where roadside stall’s fried kuey teow tasted better than this. It was totally a disappointment to me. Definitely not worth the price! continue reading

De Prawn MeeFeel quite disappointing with this, It take long time to serve and the food presentation are not like we had prawn mee at outside. When it serve the soup are spill out cause the soup are too full in the bowl . The soup taste are similar like instant prawn noodle seasoning and it also with the fried egg instead of hard boiled eggs which like not match with it . continue reading

So here i am for my tea. De pastry chef not only serve main dishes, they do serve many types of dessert as well. There are pies, cakes, cokkies, bread too. So this time i ordered a slice of mango cheese cake as my dessert. This is how it looks like. It tastes quite good, a little bit sour. The cheese is soft and nice. Overall it is okay but i do not like the strawberry on top. It tastes really sour and not juicy at all. This makes me wonder how long they have stored this cake in the refrigerator. A slice of cake cost me around rm7.00. continue reading

From the look of the photo this dish does look delicious, but don't get bluff by the look.my friend ordered this because she never tried a spaghetti which come with lemon sauce before so she thought why not give it a try.the chicken chop is nice to eat with the sauce - not really very tasty as the sauce taste funny.the spaghetti is the worse, they had over cooked it, the spaghetti was too soft, not nice at all.if i were to rate this i would give 5/10 continue reading
