Crayon Burger (Closed)

Went out for lunch at Crayon Burger.Way more better than Burger Lab in my honest opinion. Although the place don't offer much seats or even much parking space, it's still a worth a visit if you're looking for a good place for special burgers. Must try the Peanut Butter & Bacon burger! Special and unique in it's own ways!

I believe this was one of the burger that actually stood out the most. The burger includes milk buns, an egg, beef or chicken patty with wasabi mayonnaise sauce. I truly think that the wasabi mayonnaise had a nice impact on the burger. However for me, I wish it was a little stronger. The patty was pretty bad, breaks off easily. Egg was normal, just like any egg you can find in Ramlee burger, nothing special.

The implementation of hashbrowns in burgers wasn't exactly what I am fond of but nevertheless, I am open to try everything possible. Again, the buns were pretty pointless. Colour without flavour. The chicken patty was a little too salty and dry. It was actually really dry. The hashbrowns here okay, they didn't really effect the burger much. Overall, the burger was just really dry.

As crazy as it may sound, Peanut Butter on a burger, its actually quite a good idea. However, similar to all the other burger problems, the bun was pointless. The color was nice but there wasn't anything different compared to other colours. The bun was also pretty dense and hard, but it was consistent. The patty was covered with cheese and peanut butter, it was good, but it wasn't good enough. It could've been great at some point. Furthermore, the additional raspberry jam was just overpowering.

Who doesn't love the smell and taste of french fries on a western meal? Chances are, you would order the set which includes fries and drinks (additional Rm5). The fries weren't all that bad, it was thick and filled with potato inside. It wasn't really that dry nor underflavoured. The sauce that comes with it, melted cheddar cheese which was pretty alright. Salty and cheesy at the same time.

To begin, the red coloured bun was disappointing. It was red but it has no flavour. In fact, all the buns with colours had no flavour whatsoever. The caramelized onions had a very strong pungent smell that wasn't pleasant at all, unlike durians. The patties were dry and it breaks off easily. Furthermore, the essence of the beef was really strong within the patty, I like the fact when there are beef juices remaining but not when it starts to smell funny. Overall, it was a horrible burger.

I ordered The Boss with added Bacon (Add RM2 per slice). It comes with a vegetable bun, eggs, croquet?and beef with added bacon. It was alright, nothing special. Just that the egg was making the burger look 'cheap'. Kindafeel like those Ramly burger on the streets. The patty wasn't really distinguishable or flavourful. The bun was kinda bland and the bacon didn't really give that kick it was required to do so.
