Craft Brew, a nice place to hang out. Different coloured beers tasted different as well. I prefer the green spirulina beer Anyway you may give it a try!

The beers are the main attraction, so let's start this entry with drinks. Direct from Singapore's RedDot Brewhouse, we had the Monster Green Lager (brewed with spirulina) and English Ale (a ruby-red beer). RM17 for a half-pint, both were pleasantly smooth & not too strong-tasting.
Skewers of roast pork wrapped with bacon. Succulent stuff, full of flavour.
Caramelized roast pork with onions, chillies and curry leaves. At first bite, this is sorta similar to Vintry's version.
Honey mustard pork back ribs. Tender and well-marinated, with an addictive sweet-salty taste that kept us munching tirelessly.
Deep-fried eggplant chips coated in crispy salted egg batter. Ideal for snacking.

Flying Dog's "Doggie Style" Classic Pale Ale and "Old Scratch" Amber Lager. Tasted like regular beer, but I'm really the wrong person to be giving any opinions on this, since I usually stick to wine and cocktails.

Since Craft Brews focuses mainly on pork, how could we not try some ribs? We chose the Honey Mustard Back Ribs (RM 38). We found this tasty at the beginning, because the flavour was good. But after awhile the sweetness from the honey mustard gets a bit too overpowering, and we were struggling to finish. Definitely not something you want to try alone. Unfortunately, these ribs were also not the meatiest pork ribs around. Overall, we wanted to like the ribs very much, but the combination of an overbearing sweet flavour and below-average sized ribs made this not worth the price in our books.
For the mains, we opted to try the Pork Burger (RM 26), layer after layer of lettuce, tomato, beef patty, cheddar cheese, pineapple and a pan-fried egg.
Overall, the taste of the burger was so-so. No complaints, but we wouldn't give it any awards either. We felt the patty was just slightly burnt, so that lost some points. Not an impressive burger, but looking back now, it could have been because the rise of the pork burger has given way to so many great ones, so much so that one that was once good, could pale in comparison now.

We chose the Caramelized Roast Pork over Chicken, and asked to have it spicy. Indeed, we got big pieces of roast pork wok fried with caramelized onions and indeed spicy, so we were quite contented.
Of course how could we go to a beer place and not have a beer right? We decided to give the most interesting ones from the Rogue range a try, namely the Chocolate Stout (on the left) and the Hazelnut Brown.
Of course, there's the more common beers available too if that's more your thing. Craft Brews has a nice location, with a place that's not too big yet not that small either. Good enough to consider for a simple gathering of friends. =)
This dish is a dish for sharing and it is really alluring. Its portion is very big, which is satisfying. The grilled back ribs and chicken legs come with golden brown potato wedges and grilled corn on the side. The meats are grilled to a slight tangy flavour which is very nice, you can request for their special sauce for the meats. The potato wedges is very nicely fried too, crunchy and not oily. Something great for sharing.
The garden sald in Craft brews come in this very delighting wooden dish and also wooden spoon and forks. As delighting as how the bowl looks, the salad itself is very refreshing too. It has lettuce, other fresh leaves, cherry tomatoes and its salad dressing is very light olive oil and vinegar. You can request for some mayonaise or thousand island sauce if you still want something tasteful, but I would suggest that you just eat it as it is, refreshing enough!
