Pork stew Ramen @ RM16.00The pork stew ramen comes with several pieces of thick pork cubes and green vegetables. The soup base is like thick soy soup, very flavouring but a little too salty. The meat are well marinated and cook till so tender. The meat will just melt in the mouth. However, the meat comes with layers of pork lard, it will be jilat if you are not used to the fats.

Wifey ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen. I was apprehensive for her, as she cannot really consume very spicy food. However, to our delight, the spiciness is virtually not there. The soup is very creamy and flavourful, full of pork bone taste. The ramen is perfectly cooked, slightly al dente. The pieces of chashu is tender and juicy. I thought that the egg looked more like hard boiled egg than the ones we normally find in ramen shops, with runny egg yolks. Nevertheless, the bowl of noodle was quite satisfying.

The gyouza in Chuka Cafe is very nice. Pan-fried pieces of delectable morsels was definitely a good addition to our meal. The skin is slightly thick, but it was fine as it was pan-fried to golden perfection, crunchy and nice. The filling of pork was juicy, and some of the juice actually squirted out when we bit into it. Priced at RM8 for three pieces, it was definitely well worth the amount paid.
