The rsestaurant in batu caves which is famous with the curry mee or so called the curry laksa. The restaurant is nothing much to shout about as it is just a normal kopitiam. The curry noodle which is being served with the thick gravy. The curry noodles is amazingly well made with the thick curry taste and the ingredients’ like long beans, tau fu bok and slices of chicken meat with it.Taste: 3/5Price: RM 4.00

This curry house is located just at the junction towards the Sri Gombak market. I know some people who swear by this place and visit this shop every Sunday morning. This curry house is located just at the junction towards the Sri Gombak market. I know some people who swear by this place and visit this shop every Sunday morning. My parents thinks it tasted like the old traditional chong hwa curry laksa in china town. The place is almost full every lunch time as well. Best to come early firstly to get parking, and secondly to get a seat. The curry laksa here is the main choice for most people although they have nasi lemak, and other noodles here. You can have the curry laksa with request of the type of noodles(bihun, kuey teow or mee) and whether you want the kerang fully cooked if don’t like it bloody red which is the default if no request. The curry laksa soup is not too spicy and has a thick santan taste served with lots of taufu pok and taugee. I heard sources that they use condense milk to have a creamy taste to it. I personally think the curry laksa taste is superb, the service is fast but the portion wasn’t quite enough (if you are really hungry go for the bigger bowl) and the ingredients are pretty simple with not much meat in it. Therefore they serve some fried pork to go with the curry laksa. Overall a pretty good quality curry laksa that satisfies your taste buds.
