It is restaurant that famous of it yu tou mai (鱼头米). The yu tou mai here is very nice and special. The soup is a bit sour and fresh. You can choose to mixed yu tou mai with fish balls, fish heads or prawn. The prawn is quite fresh and big size. Other than yu tou mai, they got sell many other dishes like fish, chicken and fried rice. continue reading

We had a great dinner here as it is my mum birthday! The food here is great. Have tried many shark's fin restaurants. This is the best for me. The soup is slightly different, outstanding when generous pour of Chinese red vinegar on it. And its main property seems to be to impart the soup with a smooth, gelatinous texture. For those who have tasted the real shark fin soup before, you may agree with me that the fin is largely tasteless, with the flavour contributed by the rich soup broth of chicken, crab meat and other ingredients. Recommended Dish(es): Shark's Fin Soup Spending: Approximately MYR38.80 (per bowl) continue reading

Brought my parents to have a meal at Chong Fatt Seafood Restaurant. We ordered;Stir fry Lotus (RM25) for our veggie and the have few almond flakes on it. The almond gives a right combination taste way better than peanut. You can munch your way for the crispness feel of lotus. Fish Maw (RM35) no comment on this because I think is not my cup of tea. There are some weird taste from the fish maw that I can't describe it (maybe the way they cooked it)Stir fry fish fillet (RM30) taste NOT FRESH at all! Unexpected to get the taste when I dine in with them they cant even make a good fish fillet stating that they are seafood restaurant. not a good impression for me. The taste is pretty awful. Ostrich cooked in Black bean sauce (rm28) Despite from the fish fillet this ostrich taste really good! It is hard to find a restaurant that offers ostrich. Oh they even have vension. The ostrich meat is tender and the black bean makes a good combination of it. Love it! Fruits & jelly were fresh and the watermelon taste sweet, juicy and refreshing! continue reading
