I ordered the green tea tower bingsu in large which costed RM18.80. If you opt for the small one, it would be RM10.80. I think the larger one was more worth it because the size of that bingsu was really huge!! My friend on the other hand ordered the cookies and cream bingsu. All of the bingsu costed the same regardless of the flavours
I personally thought the green tea bingsu tasted better than the cookies and cream. This is because the cookies and cream bingsu was basically milk and some oreo crumbs. Eventhough the portion was huge, I felt they both tasted ordinary and there wasn’t any elements of the bingsu that we can get excited about. It was quite pricey to me and I wouldn’t go there again.

The Dark Chocolate 'volcano' which costs RM 14.90 and above was rich and sinful, and having it sink into my teeth, I swore that I must not let the toothfairy know of this crime of mine. The burst of chocolate in the mouth, is something every girl needs. The best part is their ability to make it without the creamy taste of most cakes and pastries, something I welcome very much.

On the other hand, the staff recommended me their signature non-coffee beverage, Misugaru Latte since I needed something warm during the time. Misugaru latte is a multigrain latte. I first thought that the taste might be awkward but it changed my thinking after my first sip. The latte was flowing light grain aroma and all the taste blended together unexpected well. I felt happy when I had this! A good recommendation I will definitely have it next time!

Lastly, the staffs were friendly and I spent a good quality time there

If you are a very nutty person, you'll definitely love this! Very generous amount of almonds, nuts, and walnut in one bingsu! Slightly roasted, these crispy and caramel crystalised nuts just simply drived me nuts! Not too sweet, coffee aromated ice cream will definitely make your day.

Caffebene is a unique Korean culture cafe which incorporates with European cafes and European life style. Their Coffee used the world’s best seasonally harvested fresh coffee beans. Besides, they also offer Belgian Waffles, Italian Gelato and Natural Fruit Smoothies. Caffebene is located at Oasis Boulevard, Ground Floor of Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall.

The space is limited and cozy. Designed mainly in brown colour which brings out the cottage feeling. Caffebene offers a order and pay first concept. They will give you a ‘beeper’ to notice you once your order is ready.

I and my boyfriend ordered their Green Tea Tower Bingsu and a cup of Ice Latte. The Bingsu consisting, ice shaves, green tea syrup, green tea gelato, nuts, red bean paste and whipped cream. It didn’t give the Wow factor ><
I’m not really enjoyed it. The ice shaves were brusque and a bit tasteless even the green tea syrup is added. But their gelato was nice and creamy~
The Ice Latte was nice and have coffee aroma~

The amount of money spent on its opening, signifies that the people managing this cafe is really serious on making this cafe a hit 3. That's always been my reaction on a new cafe.

So last Friday after class, I took a bus all the way to Sunway Pyramid to meet up with my besties from high school! We decided to have desserts for lunch because its not every day you can meet up with a friend who thinks the same way as you do.

I liked the design of Caffe Bene, with its rock walls, and comfy cushioned seating. However, the seating area was limited, just a small corridor for the air-conditioned area, And a slightly-wider-than-the-corridor outdoor seating area. My friend & I had to stand for a while after making our order as there was not seats available.

Honey Bread (Garlic & Cheese) RM16
Toasted honey bread with garlic butter & cheese topping.
Taste wise, I thought that it was pretty normal. It wasn't really impressive and I thought that RM16 was way to steep for a simple toast like this :/
Would've been better if they'd substitute some of the cheese sauce with some melted cheese.
Feeling unsatisfied, we decided to try out their signature dessert- Bingsu. Perhaps it'd fare better?
Cookie & Cream Bingsu RM10.90 (S)
Bingsu is a Korean shaved ice dessert, usually topped with fruits & condensed milk. It is an extremely popular dessert in the South Korea. I've actually never heard of it before so I was quite excited to dig in!
On first glance I thought that this desserts looked impressive! The portion too was huge!
However, the Bingsu didn't really hit the spot.
The shaved ice was coarse in texture and it tasted like ice. You'd have to eat the shaved ice with the whipped cream/ice-cream (not really sure which was it) which was tad milky to my liking or the shaved ice is just..well ice! Thought that the cookie crumbs topping didn't really fit the dessert too as it tasted a little out of place.

I didn't really enjoyed the desserts there. Perhaps due to the difference in preference. Perhaps the Koreans love their desserts that way?
And because of the limited seating, we didn't get to devour our desserts slowly as there were too many customers, waiting for us to finish our dessert to "prowl" for our seats.
On another note, service was pleasant =)

I also could not resist buying the small packets of ready-made sachets of coffee for RM 4.80 per pack that contains 3 inside. The coffee was just so-so.

There was a giant clock on the wall as a decoration too. So thumbs up for decor.
