It came with lettuce leaves, carrots, onions, one whole hard boiled egg, olives, cherry tomatoes tossed in vinaigrette dressing. Addition of grilled chicken is upon request. The salad dressing tasted decent, nothing much to shout about. Vegetables were fresh though. The grilled chicken were cold, as if just taken out from the refrigerator. It hardly had any meat (more fats and chicken skin), and came in really small pieces with small portion. Most of the latte served in KL has too much milk in it, as I prefer a stronger coffee taste. So far this is the best latte that I have tried. It has a strong body of coffee, just how I wanted it to be, with slight acidic taste as well. It came with a rather smaller cup compared to other cafes, which resulted in a more concentrated cuppa. It came with nice crema and decent latte art. Temperature was just right, even after I took some time taking photo of it

I can say that I'm proud of my uni's own cafe operated by Le Cordon Bleu alumni. It serves very good macaron, especially the chocolate flavoured ones! The macaron shell is slightly crispy. Upon biting on it, the teeth just sinks into the airy and marshmallowy centre. The chocolate ganache is amazing- rich, thick, not too sweet with a hint of bitter taste. One was never enough. It came at about RM4 per piece, not cheap but money can really buy happiness.

Parking might be scarce and campus security can seem strict, but those are puny obstacles to overcome for the sake of visiting this cafe in Sunway University. Opened this week by Le Cordon Bleu-trained pastry chef Alina Hew, Madeleine Patisserie could become a hip hangout for snack-seeking students. Freshly baked croissants and farmer's bread, served warm with butter and jam, cost a fairly affordable few ringgit. Macarons are a star attraction too, at RM3.50 apiece. The flavors are pleasurably

Macarons are a star attraction too, at RM3.50 apiece. The flavors are pleasurably intense _ everything from chocolate, vanilla and caramel to passion fruit, green tea and raspberry _ with a texture that's creamy rather than crunchy, bolstered by rich, melting-soft centers.

Opera cake _ outstanding, thanks to super-sumptuous layers of buttercream and ganache.

Madeleine will be offering more soon, including "Taste of Australia" vegemite sandwiches, "Teacher's Pet" toasties and a "Dean's List" breakfast set of sunny-side-ups and sausages.

Enjoyably flavorful coffee. Coffee doofuses like me will get the white to avoid burning our tongues.

Bonus points for having a barista whom ladies and some lads will swoon over.
