Having passed by Jalan Kemajuan almost every day after work, I’ve always wanted to try this new funky and quirky looking café. The name itself “Ka-ching” caught my attention and I’ve always wonder whether it is an interior design company or a furniture company. To my surprise it is a café instead.It was raining heavily when we reached but it was so comfortable the minute we set our food in. The interior looks welcoming and comforting. It was raining heavily when we reached but it was so comfortable the minute we set our food in. The interior looks welcoming and comforting. Another surprise occured when we discovered it is a two level café where the lower floor is named “The Nest Underground”. But since it is a smoking area, we opt to sit at the higher floor instead. We asked the lady behind the counter for their food recommendation and we had the Seafood Tom Yam Carbonara and Vietnamese Pizza. They gave us a complimentary soup as well, and it was really nice.
The Carbonara is awesome. It has a generous selection of seafood with muscles, prawns and squids as well as button mushrooms. The Pizza was even better. The combination of otak otak and rice paper was so good that we finish all of it within seconds. Crispy on the outside, flavourful on the inside. Perfect combination.
We will definitely come back again. Another thing to note, the service was really good. Staffs were friendly and nice too.
