I love my job. One of the reasons is I get to organize events, not just for sales lead generation, but also internally, for our colleagues during festive seasons.Christmas is near, and so there goes the finding of gathering places with good food and environment. There were a few eateries in mind but my colleague reminded me on Black Bull, a restaurant we passed by during last year Christmas, which later finalized as our Christmas celebration spot.Why Black Bull? We have chosen Black Bull because it offers not only food but also activities for group involvement of bowling, dart, pool and karaoke. No hassle on activities planning!Moreover, the environment is very pleasant too. With so much stuffs in one place, it still remains spacious and comfortable.Western Fusion DiningIt offers wide selection of dishes on tapas, snack, appetizer, soup, pizza, main course, pasta, salad, burger & taco and dessert. There are Family Combo meals and Friend’s Party sets too. However, we went heavily for Tapas, Snack, Appetizer and their Main Courses (all pre-ordered with 50% advance payment), plus some desserts.Tapas, Snack & Appetizer:Main Course:How’s the food? I think it’s above average. From what I observed, I think my colleagues were quite satisfied with the food too. Moreover, it is all paid by the company. Yeah~Overall, it was really an enjoyable experience being in Black Bull. All their staffs were really well-trained, friendly, helpful and professional too. Being the only coordinator, I have no issue communicating with any of their staffs. From time to time, I can check with them on total bill too to avoid exceeding of company allocated budget.Therefore, I highly recommend this venue for company and group events!Black Bull has another branch in Level 3, Mid Valley. Black Bull, a spacious restaurant & bar with a few fun facilitiesThe tapas selection includes calamari with harissa & garlic aioli sauce (RM25), a recipe that kinda sounded better than it looked & tasted. Perhaps several of the other items might fare better: there's everything from Tex-Mex burgers with jalapeno peppers & tomato salsa to seared duck breast with red wine reduction.The cocktails could be more potent: Amaretto Espresso Martini (amaretto, kahlua, smirnoff vodka, espresso) ...... & Toblerone (creme de cacao, frangelico, bailey's irish).
