I went to Ben's at Klcc to have a light lunch. Cosy and nice ambience. After checking out their menu, I ordertheir Wild mushroom soup as I am not really feel having a heavy lunch. Maybe will tried out their other mainmenu dishes in other day. Here it comes the wild mushroom soup with a piece of garlic bread. Looks yummy andtasty. The mushroom soup is thick and creamy. I like to soak the garlic bread into it and it is tasty.

Ben's house salad has 7 types of beans/nuts/grains, including edamame and black sesame.

The edamame gave the salad a nice texture that's between nutty and soft. Not everyone enjoys edamame but I love the mild flavour when boiled in brine.

The avocado gave the most definition to the salad, with its creamy texture and unmistakeable subtly rich flavour.

The vinaigrette and little nuts and seeds gave the overall character to the salad, though I thought it would be nicer if the whole thing was less sweet-sour and more nutty.

I found the cherry tomatoes would be better replaced with semi-dried tomatoes, as I would've liked more sweetness and less sour in the salad, without losing the flavour of tomatoes that keep the salad together.

I also thought there was too much lettuce - the taste of lettuce is good but the stubborn texture makes it hard to enjoy.

I thought I'd be fully than I really was. I guess I was a little optimistic in trying to have just a salad for dinner. Frozen chicken nuggets were waiting for me at home, and I obliged.

You love burgers? Try something special at Ben's! They serve a wide range of great food here which some of them is fusion cuisine. If you think that burgers are starting to be boring now, try out their new button mushroom burger here! Its portion is big and they serve it with fries on the side. Crispy and nice. Also, they serve salad with the burger. So, you will surely get satisfied with this combination. Show your taste buds some love

Ben's is a place which serves modern fusion food and they give you a really comfy ambiance so that you can spend some quality times with your loved ones. Of course, it should not be forgotten the great food that they offer. Their Pad Thai Fettucine is a real deal that they give you a special taste of the pasta with the Thai fusion. Also, their seafood is really fresh here! So, you will surely find favor of this dish!

If you are a fan of cheese, then this toastie is your best friend. Heaps upon heaps of cheese is piled in between two lightly buttered toast and melted together to fuse the two slices of bread into one entity. The buttered toastie is kinda oily and I would recomend a fork and spoon unless you prefer going at it with your hands. I remembered that there are four types of cheeses used in the making of this sandwich but sadly I don't remember except for the taste that is seared onto my palates. I ta

I tasted cheddar and parmesan while the other two cheese appeared to be missing from my mind.

This restaurant is always full whenever I passed by, no matter if its lunch hour or dinner time there is always a queue waiting to dine at this place. I waited for roughly 15 minutes before I got a table for two. Feeling adventurous, I ordered the nasi ulam with ayam percik. The gravy for th ayam percik was spicy but could not match those found in east coast Malaysia. It was rather oily but the gravy was tasty enough for me to finish it. The rich was fluffy and goes well with the gravy.

Taking up a seat at the end of Ben's KLCC, I had an overall view of the whole area, soaking in the ambiance. Check out some of the food we ordered. I noticed a rather interesting item on our tables, which was some cards of some sort, titled "Recipes" and "Table Topics". Taking a peek at the "Table Topic" cards out of curiosity, I soon found out it was a novelty way of striking up a conversation with your friends at the table. The fish and chips that were served at Ben's KLCC were okay, but the serving size was pretty small though. Luckily it came with fries which helped to fill up my tummy.

The Lasagna Beef, after trying a bite, I would say it tasted really good, with generous amount of cheese being thrown in. The sauce goes very well with the beef too.

My partner had the Affogato, which according to her was good as well. Overall it was a good dinner, and the environment was really nice. It's no wonder I see so many people queuing up at Ben's KLCC every meal time just to get a spot.

Being a beef lover and a pie lover, it's almost by default that I would order a beef pie of any sort at any restaurant. While I've been disappointed more often than not, Ben's wagyu beef pie left quite an impression.

Though seemingly small, this pie is very dense and heavy. The puff pastry had a delightful buttery aftertaste and puffy enough to soak up the juices and sauce from the wagyu beef filling. The beef itself was tender and offered no resistance to the chew, as wagyu is typically known for. The flavour of the beef was pleasantly intense, and the aroma would permeate my senses with every bite.

Even the side salad that it is served with tastes good and doesn't merely serve as a decoration. I notice it has edamame beans, which give it a nice crunch alongside its sweet-sour house dressing.

At the first glance at the exterior design, I was like "wow, nice design", then I know I'll try it. When first visit (without any recommendation from friends about signature dishes), I'll normally scan through the menu and try to figure out some name of food that can imagine how it looks like. It doesn't taste like common Pat Thai you find at Thailand, but this improved version of Pat Thai with more seafood (basically just prawn and squid, but big one) served with peanut, bean sprouts, and the most important is -- chili flakes!!! I personally like the chile flakes from Thailand, and the chili flakes provided is so familiar for me.
