b station is at the ampang waterfront. combination of the korean and also the hotdog food.t's quite hard not to notice this cafe, since it's painted red and the only shop along that row with such an exterior. Just keep an eye after you've passed by Old Town White Coffee. the fried chicken is quite good, but little too hard sometime the skin. too deep fried and good to have with tomato sauce

I always went to ampang waterfront Old Town Kopitiam but never once step into B Station although we always walk pass b here and also easy to find parking here. so good to venture out

the place inside the cafe which is cover by lace cloths for some privacy…good and comfortable quiet environment here

the korean side dish…their custom to eat those side dish before main course…the side dish is variety, the beef set is really good and reasonable price. the beef portion is alot and very generous restaurant. the service is good too

really enjoy dining here and place to chill out and hang out here

Last saturday,my friend was suggested to go B-Station for dinner.
I remembered I visited this restaurants two years ago, and that was quite a bad rating I would give.

So this was the second time I revisited them, and I hope for some improvement from them.
But too bad, my friends and I gave very worst rating.

My friend and I ordered Kimchi Soup.
We looked through the menu, there is a phrase wrote "Extra Rice RM3.00"
We thought this restaurant is doing different serving with others so we misunderstanding that the rice is not a must in the menu. If we wanted the rice, we need to made an extra order.

So, I ordered the one with rice and my friend without rice.
But ended up both have rice, therefore my friend returned to the waitress.
She told nothing and took the rice back. When we checked our receipt we found out that actually the rice was in a set.

The waitress never let my friend know that actually this was a set.

This is the Kimchi Soup. The next problem is the taste was very light, not sour either spicy.
The portion was very small too.
Anyone who always crave for korean food will know this is smaller than the ordinary.
This can't satisfies us.

Then was the side dishes. Three people shared four side dishes, which is as the photo above.
We were shocked that thinking side dishes should be put at least six, how can three people shared only four? So my friend requested to add side dishes. The waitress added four plates of side dishes.

No mineral water supplied, you need to pay for it.
The beverages were just so so. Mineral water is the bottle like we bought in convenience store.
RM2.80 per bottle.

We all agreed this is not value for money.

Nevertheless, they do put a lot of efforts on the decoration of the restaurants.
The environment was nice and comfort. But the foods dissapointed me, for the second times.

We visited this restaurant because of its fame and the fact that there is a lot of Korean food in the area, today so happen that we bump into this restaurant so we decided to go for it. We ordered their teriyaki chicken and it didn't took them long to serve the food to us. The chicken teriyaki had a good texture chicken, there is a strong flavor in the teriyaki sauce, rice is cooked quite well not too soft or too hard to chew on.

I really like the Jujube Tea at B Station, a korean restaurant. This is actually a kind of date with a slightly earthy and sweet taste that was so natural. The juice is a bit like tangerine taste but not as strong and there are bits of the pulp in the drink. There were bits of pine nuts added for extra taste. The pine nuts with its special flavour really made the tea taste unique. Everything about this restaurant really calms the mind. I will definitely return although the food is just nor

One of the dishes I ordered here is the Soft Beancurd Soup. This is a signature Korean soup made from bean paste but not the Japanese variety. The taste is unique, not as strong as I like it to be and a bit too diluted. It has a slightly salty taste from the bean paste and there were other flavours from the seafood ingredients like squid, prawns and clams which were sweet and fresh. When paired with rice, it was quite heavy and I did not have to order any other item. Each bowl is RM12.50 be

With an intimate setting in this restaurant, I really feel very much at home. This time I ordered their Kimchi Soup which is served with white rice. The soup came in a heavy metal bowl which maintains its heat. There were tofu and seafood in the soup and the kimchi tasted just mildly spicy which for me is fine since I do not take spicy food well. However, it may be too mild for most tastes. Taste wise, it is flavoured well by the seafood and has a tinge of sour from the kimchi. All the ing

Frankly I really came back for the ambience only. The soup cost RM12.50 which is reasonable. Banchan dishes are replenished unlimited times.

The restaurant is really a surprising find for me. The decor is really quaint with lots of quirky stuff hanging on the walls and creates a really homely feel.

In actual fact it is a Korean restaurant and one of the dishes we tried is the Bibimbap which is a signature korean mixed rice. Ingredients are sliced and arranged in a metal bowl and traditionally topped with a raw egg. But at B station, they had the egg fried to cater to those that are health conscious. The ingredients are carrots, cucumber, preserved vegetables and seaweed. A special korean chili paste is served in a separate dish and is to be added to the rice for mixing all the ingredients together before eating.

I like the chili paste which has a sweet spicy taste and it really binds the rice together with the ingredients. The vegetables provided lots of color and were quite fresh. I find the rice a little disappointing because it was a bit soggy from overcooking. Other than the taste of the chili, the seaweed and preserved vegetables gave the rice a bit of salty flavour that was not really that appealing. There were side dishes served which are replenished unlimited times. These actually tasted even better than the main dish. There were braised potatoes, pickled cucumber, kimchi and a noodle salad.

Overall I was won over by the decor and ambience more than the food and still plan to return to try their other dishes.
