Signature Dishes
Being nominated as the social committee representative of my department, allows me to utilize my gastronomical experience in recommending nice food for my colleagues to try on The task would require you to organize and handle all the food preparation pertaining to the monthly birthday celebration of the company. And so, I took up the responsibility happily and passionately So I heard of this bakery house by the name of Australian Bakery which is situated off Imbi Road. It came at the right time as it is just a stone’s throw away from my office. It also has gotten good recommendation from my aunt too. According to her, this shop has been here since the early days and they do, till now, providing customer with good and delicious selection of cakes and confectionaries.Therefore, I decided to go with the signature bakes, Carrots Walnut and also Chocolate Praline^^.The Carrot Walnut cake holds a very chewy texture as it was baked with chunky walnut bites in it. With some buttery taste, it is then topped off with a layer of white cream cheese to give a tinge of milky feel. Subsequently, the side of the cakes was further spiced up with more chunky nuts. Cool! Nevertheless, my favorite still goes to the latter, Chocolate Praline Who won’t be tempted upon seeing such a chocolaty spread? In fact, I got attracted to these generous spread of walnut and chocolates on the top in the first place! They all look so inviting indeed. I would say this cake is heaven-made for those with sweet tooth! ^^ The cake was spongy, layered with rich chocolate cream and some added citrusy of freshness from the strawberries. And the best thing is the chocolate ganache is not too sweet, so it’s pleasant to the taste bud.They do have more varieties of cakes to choose from to cater for different occasion like cheesecakes, blueberries, fruitcakes and many more.
