First thing first, I take a big sip of the soup. It is so delicious. It has the matching taste of the Penang's. The ingredients are fresh and the noodles are cooked very well with the perfect timing. The serving portion is very moderate. It is a slight too over for a breakfast meal. Will revisit.

The Kuey Teow are nicely cooked, the fish balls are fresh, the soup is tasty.
The serving portion is filling too. Look simple, but it is very nice.

Another similar Penang fare that you could try here is the signature Penang Asam Laksa. For someone like me who usually would shun away from spicy food, has somehow changed his view this time After trying the first sip, the soup is indeed very appetizing and flavourful. It has the rich sweetness s of fish used with the addition of lime sourness and the minty leaves. Then I thought it ain’t as spicy as I have thought of, till I saw the little greenish cutlets of chilli padi! Hehe… Now I know the

Hehe… Now I know the main culprit, and I shall be more alert the next time if I wanted to enjoy a bowl of Asam Laksa, haha

Noodles are very smooth and springy. The plain taste stripes are best soaked In the savory laksa soup and then enjoyed with the fish flakes which had been coarsely shredded. I might want to try out Curry Laksa next time.

Aside from its famous Penang noodles, this restaurant is also quite innovative in its drinks menu. We have these two towering beverage; Iced 3 Layer Coffee and Iced 3 Layer Tea. One is of coffee base and another would be on tea theme. Initially both looks the same to me as I couldn’t distinguish which is mine, till I got the tips from the friend, hehe. Darker color would be on coffee and lighter tone, as you would guess, belongs to tea. I enjoy the 3 layer tea better. It has got the various lay

I enjoy the 3 layer tea better. It has got the various layer of flavors if you really analize
Bottom would be the Gula Melaka, middle part would be of evaporated milk portion and then top off with tea, or coffee in another glass.
I particularly enjoy the aroma of Gula Melaka (Palm Sugar) for it bears the fragrance of natural sugar, and most importantly, it ain’t too sweet. With this combination, it somehow also reminds me of Penang Cendol as the taste of Gula Melaka is quite intense, but the nice! Slurps! ^^

I would never have known if my friend did not introduce this place to me, though it’s nearby, haha. It’s just that he is kind of missing the local food after touching down from Australia. According to him, this place is famous for its prawn mee which claims to be the most resemblance of Penang version. So as a Penangite, am more than eager to try it out should I could savour the hometown flavor again Thus, here you go, a reddish looking bowl of warmy Prawn Mee! Meal was served pretty fast for th

Meal was served pretty fast for their staff on duty were quite many. I asked for a less spicy bowl though, hehe. The soup was flavourful enough with the sweetness of prawns. And the meal just got better as the noodle and vermicelli soaked up the gist of the soup as you enjoyed them. There were also accompanied side dishes like slices of chicken meat, some prawns, egg and also dashes of fried garlic to enhance the aroma. Still, my vote still goes for the origin place of this dish; Pearl of Orient!
