This evening we went to pasar malam SS2 and hunting for food. Saw a stall selling apam balik!! Wow, long time not eating this food already for many years. Suddenly would like to eat it!They are friendly and selling apam balik thin and thick version. I love the thick version, it is very yummy and full of taste!! Have tried the thin version too, hmmm, lack of biting feel hehe! Apam balik is made by flour, sugar, peanut, sweet corn and so on. Good to try it out with cheap and affordable price!! continue reading

apam balik is one of our local snack where most of us would like to eat it as snack or tea break. the most traditional one is only with corn and sugar but now people were very good in changing the flavor, here i ordered two corn, two chocolate and two kaya flavor. We start eating it while it was still hot that is why it is still crispy, i does not like the chocolate because it is too sweet. and the one that i like the most is the original one - corn and sugar. If i were to rate this i would give 8/10 continue reading

Wifey wanted to eat something with mouth crunch, so we hunted for some apam. We found a stall selling apam balik, which was perfect. The apam were ready made, but was still warm. The shell was superbly crunchy, and we left many a crumbs trail along the way while munching. The ingredients included shredded coconut, sugar, peanut bits as well as a dollop of corn sauce, which came from a can. The apam wasn't very sweet, just nice. Well worth the RM0.50 a piece paid. continue reading
