continue reading

This bak kut teh stall is only open for dinner (starting in the evening). It's at the same shop as the famous Maybank nasi lemak (Bumbung). Service is great and food is served fast, piping hot. The soup is flavourful and not too salty. Most of the time it's alright but sometimes it can be too oily for my taste. Have never had a problem with the meat since you order what you want. If you dine there, the food is served in a claypot with all the ingredients inside. Not the best but certainly something I would have again. continue reading

It is quite rare that I have curry beef noodle and this was my first time having one. The curry was too oily but it wasn't dense at all. The meat was tender enough but at the same time the bowl was mostly filled with innards, which I never like it at all. I forced myself to try but ended up feeling unsatisfied. It was just not my thing. continue reading

Restaurant Sun Fatt Kee is my explorer of the month. It is located at Crossroads of Jalan 21/17 and Jalan 21/11B @ Seapark, Petaling Jaya and behind Maybank, at Sea Park. The curry mee is very temptating with the a lot of cockles as well as tau fu pok and more. Served with bihun or yellow noodles. I simply love the spiciness of the curry mee. Taste: 5/5Price: RM 5.00 continue reading

I like the idea of curry beef noodles, but the execution here didn't quite fit my liking. The beef was tender, but I don't like innards - I didn't know it would be served this way, else I'd have asked for just meat. The curry is decent, though too greasy and not thick enough for me. The amount of ingredients inside is also very little, and it felt as if I didn't eat at all.Overall, it's pretty decent but really not something I would try again. There are plenty of better curry noodles out there. continue reading
