Rakshee is famous with their bakso. One of my friends like this restaurant a lot as she have been here for 10 times already. I wanted to try long time ago but because it is not near, i don't really have the time to got there. So my friend from penang just got a job in KL and she wants to have some catch up session. So we went here for dinner around 5 p.m. Surprisingly it is not full house. As what i've read in some reviews, they said it will be full over the weekend but it is actually not. So we ordered chicken and beef bakso (total of 6). Then my friend ordered this carbonara that cost below RM20 i think (sorry i have forgotten) and additional with fries. Total bill that time was around RM50++ including drinks. Their concept is to order at the counter and you will receive a buzer. Once your order is up the buzer will alert you thus, need to collect it at the counter. The fries was just as an appetizer. The bakso sadly was not actually one of my favorite  . Maybe not suit to my taste. Too oily for me and tasted like a normal soup. But i do like the carbonara. I think they mixed it with some mustard because it is not too creamy. Just good enough to be able to finished it. hahaAs for drinks, i regret that i ordered teh botol because it was a bit smelly. The passionfruit is nicer. So, we hangout for about 2 hours and went back.Overall: nice environment, Small space, fast services continue reading

From The Strand Mall, you have to walk straight toward the shoplot and you will find this hidden germ cafe called Rakshee. Rakshee has been operating for almost a year by young entrepreneurs from different background. One of the founders uncle owns a Bakso factory in Penang for more than 13 years. He decides to bring this Indonesia street food to another level and name is cafe Rakshee.According to the owner, Rakshee has two meanings and it is derived from an informal Arabic language that means joyful and relaxation.Rakshee is modernized and hipster-like based design. Interior ideas came from a few parties including interior designer friend who helped gives a lot of suggestions.Rakshee is famous with their Bakso. Bakso (RM 1.90) is a kind of meatball made from beef that commonly found in Indonesia street food. What makes Bakso to be different than a typical meatball? Bakso uses more lean meat than fats. Rakshee’s menu is fully created by their in-house chef. Before creating the menu, there is only a requirement from the owner that is all savory menu items must to be infused with Bakso. Other than serving Bakso with beef soup, they even have Pasta with Bakso instead of using normal Italian meatball. All their Bakso is sourced from the uncle’s factory.Spicy Thai Linguine (RM 9.90)The pasta texture is soft and it taste spicy. Try the meatball as it so chewy. Nom...Nom...Baked Pasta Marinara (RM 9.90)I love the baked Pasta Marinara. So filling meal and the ingredient mixed well with the cheese. Give a try on this. Rakshee Linguine (RM9.90)The taste a bit similar with Spicy Thai Linguine . This meal is not spicy and is healthy to me. Bakso Nugget ( RM9.90)This is my favourite nugget as it use some spice for the ingredient . So when you bite on it, you can feel the crunchiness of the nugget. Yummy... Yummy. Remember dip the nugget with the sauce to bring out the nice taste.Rakshee Grill Lamb (RM 30.90)This is a must try and highly recommend by the chef. The lamb is tender and juicy. The specialty of this grill lamb is the sauce. Rakshee Soto Bakso (RM 11.90)If you still feel hungry after the main dish , why dont try on their dessert . I like their dessert and also the soft drink.
