This place seems to have lost its touch. It used to be the defacto nasi lemak joint but sadly no more. Now the nasi lemak is average at best. Great selection of sides but the rice lacks coconut flavour and the sambal just so so. Price wise reasonable being in KL however they need to find their flavours again or soon will just be forgotten.

Well, almost a decade ago I had my first trip to the famous Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa's stall in Kampung Baru with my colleagues and fell in love with it. The rice was fragrant with a hint of pandan, the sambal sauce was simply heavenly and the chicken crunch. Though it was only a stall with less-than-desirable surroundings, the taste alone kind of make up for all the other shortcomings. One of the best nasi lemak I ever tasted , definitely! Fast forward a decade later.. they already set up the Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa restaurant franchises all across Malaysia. Price in the restaurant gone up.. but sadly, quality also drop. Chicken, Sotong, Rice.. everything was dry... sambal overly sweet. Everything expensive! A shame really.

This nasi lemak used to be famous back then. You need to queue up just to buy nasi lemak early in the morning and also during night. But todays this nasi lemak is just like an ordinary nasi lemak. The price is expensive, the lauk is just a little and the aroma of the nasi is not like it used to be, nice, pandan leaves kind of smell. They have an outlet in Taman Melati (if not mistaken) and the restaurant is closed already.

After my memorable experience of nasi lemak at Restoran Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa, I'm coming back again for more dishes for my dinner!This time, I tried their plain old Mee Goreng and a cup of hot teh tarik. The mee goreng comes in a big portion with a few prawn and squid inside although it is not so many. The noodle was very good with a hint of spiciness insides. I would prefer it they are not so stingy with the vege as I only found 2 small pieces of it inside.

i used to stay at kampung baru before but i only go to nasi lemak antarabangsa stall twice..nasi lemak antarabangsa kampung baru is so famous..i can see everyday people will queuing to buy their nasi lemak..nasi lemak antarabangsa kampung baru is just a small restaurant with stall and attached with 'kampung' house..i have tried their nasi lemak ayam goreng..for me, it was delicious however i have tried nasi lemak more tastier than nasi lemak antarabangsa before..so, for their nasi lemak ayam goreng, maybe i can give 3.5 stars out of 5..what makes their nasi lemak delicious is because of the sambal..for me, their sambal tumis quite nice..ayam goreng is just Ok only..price is very cheap..my nasi lemak ayam goreng just cost RM5.00..nasi lemak antarabangsa now become big franchise chain restaurant, however if you want to eat their original recipe, then you should go to their stall at kampung baru..
