The food is great. Slightly over priced but amaizngly great. Maybe because there are so much choices under one roof hence making this a great place for lunch. I don't quite fancy having something so heavy for dinner so lunch would be best. But lunch hour is really hot due to the open air restaurant. Although located at the corner lot, parking is always a problem at the subang ss 15 area. continue reading

Nasi Kandar Pelita Subang Jaya is located at SS15; the Subang Jaya area with the highest concentration of colleges and college kids. We know how to much college kids love to hang out at Mamaks, and with their reputation as being one of the best around, no wonder this branch is always packed to the brim I love their Mee Goreng Mamak which is not too oily and topped with an egg, Naan Cheese which is fragrant and best eaten with the well-spiced delicious Tandoori Chicken and of course their Nasi Lemak... the sambal's nice! continue reading

continue reading

Talking about one of the most recognize mamak, This should come in the list. The mamak here has quite some chains around Malaysia. I always come here to eat their Nasi kandar. Nasi Kandar means you get to flood your rice with different types of curry. I always have chicken, veggie and one salted egg. The price always maintain at around RM7 which is quite fair and filling for my stomach. continue reading

This time around, the nasi kandar i had was with sotong, mutton, beansprouts and crackers. The sotong was fresh and has a medium to firm texture. I like the sauce for the sotong, slightly salty but spicy. The mutton was also delicious. The mutton was tender and juicy. Beansprout was too soft and soggy, lightly stir fried. I like the mix gravies they give. The mix gravies from different dishes added lots of flavors to the rice. The crackers were crunchy. continue reading
