Midnight, when me and my boy friend just finish our movie section and heading home. We come across this restaurant, despite the midnight still patron by many people, since both of us are not really full yet and are indeed looking for something to fill the gap, we decided to do a quick pullover to try out this restaurant. Located at the side of T junction near Pudu prison (Heading toward Monorial station) this store is always visited by locals. Though the environment is not a modern style one and is not really clean, but we though giving it a try since we are here already. The seating here is at the outside of the restaurant, tables are oily, chopstick is not properly clean either Services is okay, at least they do ask us what we want and order it for us, tried to clean up the table but ended up the wet cloth he used, is oily so it make the whole table oily too. The fried hokkien mee, is fantastic. The black soy sauce used is great, making the whole plate delicious Though a little bit oily, but the true taste of Hokkien mee is brought up, well done

Endless plates of Hokkien Mee were whipped up throughout our half-hour here. This place seems good for a quick meal, even though it gets packed at peak hours... Sinful stuff, bursting with flavour. But more liver and crunchy pork lard would have been nice. The fried fish cakes were also worthwhile. Juicy without being overly oily.
