♡♡KC continue reading

Cafe Cafe is a very pretty place with lotsa chandelier and pretty crystal hanging off the walls, they also have a lot of trinkets dotted through the restaurants. But one problem though, it's notoriously difficult to photograph because of the super dim lighting. Nevertheless it has remained one of my favourite restaurants in KL because of the charm and consistently good food. So I generally treat myself a visit once a year. They offered pretty reasonable priced set menu for the quality of food they offered, which is another bonus. Also, everytime I visit, there are 2 items that I always order. First is their pan seared foie gras Foie gras is incredibly easy to mess up (judging by the standards of most restaurants here) and badly cooked ones are barely edible. But at Cafe Cafe, it's always perfection. They changes the condiment occasionally the this was peachy. Well caramelised outside, meltingly tender inside with a rich buttery taste. Well, there's nothing further to add. Except to apologise for the bad photo (dim lighting!)This was my first time trying the clam cooked with white wine and it was lovely. The clams weren't overcooked. The sauce was beautifully oceany with a distinct wine aroma. I slurped this up with no hesitation. The braised beef cheek is another must order dish here. Here the tender pieces of beef sit atop a neatly plated mash, surrounded with assorted mushrooms. It's incredibly luscious. Beef: tender, aromatic from red wine with a hint of herbaceous note. The mash was perfectly creamy and smooth. I love the mini shimeji (I think) mushrooms as they have a little crunch in them. Just a super delicious dish. I'm generally not a big fan of chocolate lava cake but I have heard so much about their version. It was just textbook perfect. Rich dark chocolate with a molten centre. Heavenly. continue reading

Café Café offers a very luxurious restaurant setup. for marriage proposal, birthday or romantic dine out, its a never to be miss place. The cosy atmosphere will swept your partners away definitely an "I do". The dessert browny with ice cream is a must. Quality of food is good but a bit pricey. On ground, for special event, who would be so mind on the price, right? ;) continue reading

Cafe Cafe remains one of KL's most interesting restaurants, attracting more customers than ever to its romantically lit, Parisian-inspired setting. Returning here recently for the first time in several years, we learnt that the menu has retained many longtime favorites. Didn't order much though, since we were crammed into a tiny table. Service is still efficient, though somewhat icier than before. All about truffles: truffle-scented baked escargot with foie gras. A fun recipe, but it would be nice if each snail were served with its own morsel of liver, instead of only three of the six. Absolut Citron & Smirnoff vodkas, in lieu of wine. continue reading

With the first impression of the name itself give me this expression What? a normal cafe that is located in KL? But when i heard that is a romantic place to dine in I was still doubting it till I step in it. My mind totally busted out and it is so relaxing and I heard that it is a suitable place for marriage proposal and I have seen it live during that time.:Coming down to there food offer they have a full set meal which include starter, main course, drinks and of course dessert for you to choose and it cost about RM99 per set if not mistaken. The drink taste normal nothing much to expect.small portion of pumpkin soupFor the main course we order Lamb shank. As well as tiger prawn and it seems like not fresh at all so the lamb shank wins it all. What i like the most is their dessert I'm a dessert addicted So overall is a place that I would said to go for their environment and dessert but not their food as id kinda pricy. continue reading
