I visited back in 2012 with a bunch of my malaysian friends who insisted on taking me here before my visit to My ended, we went on a Sunday morning after a big night out and although it was a long drive to get there it was well worth it. Being there well before lunch meant the place was only half full and we didn't have to wait very long.I had so many nice meals on that visit it's hard to seperate the flavours in my memory but the meal here was one of the most memorable despite being one of the most humble. I'm not sure what I had as it was ordered for me (silly gweilo can't speak canto!) but I think it was the pork noodle special as it had bits of everything in it. I'm not usually an offal eater but I ate everything including the intestine and it was all delicious. I remember the stock was particularly good and I drained the bowl, usually I would be so full I'd leave a bit.I also want to say the all-woman team of chefs were outstanding and it was a pleasure to patronise their business; I'll certainly be asking to be taken back here on my next visit. continue reading

The restaurant is located at the border of Sungei Way, in Sunway Mentari. I heard they are very popular and with at least of 30min long queue during the lunch time. The shop is clean and the staffs are friendly. The entire shop is just serving the one type of food, the Pork Meat Noodles.Althought it is just one type of food, you may have it in many different kind of variance. Such as the type of noodle choice, more minced pork, without pork lever, added with eggs, soup type, or dark-soy-sauce type.I was there during lunch time, and I have to sit under the sun, out infront of the shop at the corridor for 30min. Got to try it, what so good about this noodle. On this first look, I don't seem to be too "wow" about it. But overall after tasting the soup and the noodles, the scoring is not so bad. It is the Penang-type of Pork Meat Noodles. The soup is over tasted with MSG (a.k.a. Ajinomoto). Overall, just ok, definately no "wow" from me. continue reading

Orange Juice. Since we ordered the famous pork noodles, we also ordered the orange juice for cooling down the heat. The place was like the normal hawker shop and it was quite hot inside. The orange juice was filled with ice which made the real juice was lesser. The taste of orange was there and it was sweet with some slightly sourness. The juice was not thick enough. continue reading
