以前只知道海外天，这次搜到了这家就去试试，没想到很符合我们的口味，没有奇怪的酸味，这里好多餐馆的蒜蓉，姜蓉都有味道，这家的蛋黄炸鸡和软壳蟹很推荐，上海锅饼配冰激凌也很不错，新鲜菜式和好的服务，非常满意！

Ordered philippine egg plant, nyonya fried rice and crab meat tofu for the dinner, the taste as usual is awesome especially for the egg plant, crunchy...spicy and sour.Nyonya fried rice portion is okay, well cooked and had great eroma smell of the spices. Crab meat tofu is quite normal, not a great dish that i will recommend.Tissue paper is hard and rough, does not feel good using it. Prices has increase dramatically, prices of menu has changed though, at least by 30%

1919 is a yellow bungalow along jalan yap kwan sengthey serve their food and beverages on very authentic chinese porcelain pieces so authentic that they even have chips on themthe salted egg chicken was recommended by the waiterwhen served we didn't smell any unusual fragrance from the dishthe chicken were boneless and cut into nugget sizes for easy consumpitonyou can still see the egg yolk very clearly on each chicken piecethe egg was too much for me. i think it kind of overpowered the chicken

Very easy to spot this restaurant as it occupies one whole bungalow unit along Jalan Yap Kwan Seng.However, parking unit is very limited, like 4-5 cars only.So we parked at the parking space just behind, but being charged by the another restaurant that claimed the parking belong to them. 这个豆腐很特别。因为里面都装了蔬菜还有虾子。豆腐里面应该是有鸡蛋的成分。所以质感比较硬，因为体积的问题，所以其实里面的馅料并没有很多，酱汁的味道不错。还是值得一试的。

这个炒粿条是装在一个铁盘上面，所以服务员端上来时候哪种香气立刻扑鼻而来。炒粿条炒到非常好吃，质感还狠滑嫩，吃起来还有一种弹性，里面的肉片很好吃。上面还有大量的青椒。

这个三巴辣椒炒菜真的很好吃。三巴的辣椒吃起来味道很香，吃起来香香辣辣，三巴的味道很实在，非常的下饭。蔬菜炒到很脆口，里面还陪了虾子和鱿鱼，更增加了一种鲜气在里面。

这个甜酸鸡肉块吃起来很爽脆。鸡肉块外面包着很酥脆的粉浆，然后酱汁一点也是湿。所以并没有浸软鸡肉的外皮。吃起来除了有着酸甜的味道，还能尝到很脆然后味道好吃的鸡肉。

这个咸蛋鸡我很喜欢吃。看起来就好像普通的炸鸡肉块但是咸蛋包着鸡肉外皮。整个吃起来虽然很干爽，一点也不油腻，吃起来里面的鸡肉非常滑嫩。外皮酥脆，真的是外酥内软。

Egg Fried Chicken is one of my favorites too. According to Roy, he uses the best salted egg he can find to make the dish. When it is being served to the table, the smell of the delicious scent of salted egg is just perfect. The tender juicy chicken meat which is coated with the savory salted egg and other ingridients is just heavenly. The dish did not appear to be too salty and it is just nice to my tastebuds. Kerabu with Yam Basket is also one of the signatures here at 1919 Restaurant. The dish is prepared creatively with the kerabu is being topped on top of the kerabu itself. The yam basket are wholly cooked in Ipoh and transported over all the way to serve the customer. The combination of the sour mango and cucumber is being well sliced and added with the condiments with it. Just perfectly done which I fall in love with it. This was really a great way to end the meal. Ice cold ice cream with warm kaya cakes. Take one scoop of ice cream along with the entire slice of the cake and gently placed it in your mouth, the feeling you get is unforgettable. Both totally opposite in terms of temperature works so well when you start chewing bit by bit. I personally couldn't have enough but then again, its not very nice to ask for more ahahaha. Overall, loved it.

Char Kuey Teow is a very easy to find dish. You could find Char Kuey Teow at almost any hawker food stalls. However, a great Char Kuey Teow isn't that easily found. When this plate arrived, it looked stunning. The glazed on the noodles, the vibrant colours of the chili and beansprout, the smell and everything. However, the taste wasn't too my liking. It was very bland. It has no depth, flavour nor a kick. It has consistency in the noodles, but with such a flavourless dish, there is no point of c
