1. Thai Camp @ Paramount PJ
A Thai restaurant at Taman Paramount, PJ that serves delicious Thai food? Yup! Usually crowded with patrons during the peak hours, a simple menu that serves food that you’ve always wanted to enjoy them when you’re at Thailand! Authentic flavors, one of the most ordered food here would be their Kao Kha Moo (Special Pork Leg with Rice); great braised pork leg meat – tender, succulent and soft! For other delicious treats, they do have Moo Ping (Thai Pork Skewers), Thai Fish Cake, Grilled Pork Sausages Tom Yum and more!
2. The Porki Society @ PJ Seapark
A new society established at PJ Seapark here – The Porki Society! This Thai restaurant serves pork dishes here in Thai style; delight yourself with more great tastes that you’ve been craving for! Serves boat noodles too, they have a new menu that consist of Boat Rice and Boat Porridge now! Start off with boat noodles – Soup & Dry style, theirs are good in portion and indulge on snacks like Moo Tod Porki (Fried Pork Cutlet), Luk Chin Moo Ping (BBQ Pork Balls), Sai Krok (Thai BBQ Sausage) or the signature BBQ Squid! The Porki Society will sure to curb your cravings for good Thai food feast!
3. Thai Syok Thai Food & Yakitori BBQ @ Sunway Mentari
This Thai restaurant relocated to Sunway Mentari in PJ (Previous location at Wisma Central KL); enjoy great authentic Thai food that you will sure to scream in delight! Added new dishes into their extensive menu, must try dishes here includes Pandan Chicken, Pad Thai, Mango Salad, Mango Stick Rice and more Thai dishes to find from their menu. While the new Thai-style Yakitori Skewers are marinated before grilling it, it absorbs all the flavors and upon grilled; they are still tender and juicy! As Sunway Mentari is known as a ‘Steamboat City’, get something different from Thai Syok today!
4. Moobaan Thai @ Taman Bukit Desa
One of the newest Thai food finally landed here at the neighborhood of Taman Bukit Desa, KL! A brightly lit interior, simple menu and Thai dessert and snacks are available too! Enjoy be it the dishes with rice or the Ala-carte style if you plan to dine with a bunch of foodie! Tomyam in this Thai restaurant could be spicier than the usual ones, but this is surely one of the best! For an authentic Thai style restaurant, stewed pork leg is something you can’t say no to! Their fried rice too gives it a special taste of the Chiang Rai style! Isn’t it great that you can enjoy Thai dishes here that will not burn a hole in your pocket?
5. Mango Chili @ Nexus Bangsar South
Their first flagship store is finally here in Nexus, Bangsar South. Under the same franchise of the famous Mango Tree Restaurant from Thailand, this restaurant is quite special and meaningful in a way that each meal that is ordered, they will contribute a meal to underprivileged kids. To begin, do try their Green Curry fried rice and Tom Yam fried rice that will spice up your taste buds! Besides, dishes to try like Thai Fish Cakes, Vegetable Spring roll that is crispy and delicious, Pad Thai Prawns and mor from their extensive menu! Usually packed during dining hours, why not come here to dine for good food and a good cause?

Another Thai restaurant to tickle your taste buds especially for more Thai style street food! Always packed, be sure to try their Khao Kha Moo – pork trotters that is braised till perfect and a huge pot over the stove proves that they are one of the must try Thai food here! That layer of fat and the skin are perfect! Besides, Moo Ping (Grilled pork skewers) a must order. Smoky flavor and tender, 3 will never be enough! Som Tum (Papaya Salad), Thod Mun Moo (Pork cakes), Thai Milk tea or even Tub Thim Krob are all available here. As authentic as it can be, do not miss this Thai restaurant!
7. Rak somtam @ Kota Damansara
Fancy having some Thai food when you’re at Kota Damansara, PJ? Rak Somtam will sure to cure your cravings. From Somtam to Tomyam and Green curry, theirs will never fail to entice your appetite for more! One thing that is not to be missed would be their Stir-fry Minced Pork with Basil! Tastes good with rice as the savory gravy is wonderful – time to dine there and expect to end with a satisfied tummy!
8. Boat Noodle @ Berjaya Times Square & Major Places
Boat noodles are a hit when it was then introduced in Malaysia. Despite the long queues which are still happening now, patrons are willing to wait even near 20 minutes for a table! Foods at Boat Noodle are still great even though the portion is small. Food like fried chicken wings, chicken meat balls, Ka nam tuay (Thai dessert) or even Kra Pow Rice (Minced chicken with basil leaf rice) would be a good choice for beginners. Of course you can’t miss the must order – Boat Noodles! How many bowls can you chomp down?
