Looking for a highly-rated restaurant in KL and PJ that is in Trend? Recently many new restaurants have begun to mushroom all over Klang Valley, you will find lots of cool, quirky and inexpensive cafes and bistros offering a variety of food!

1. Garage 51 café
Coffee Societe have branched out to Bandar Sunway in PJ, building the caffeine society with their Melbourne-flavored cafe culture closer to a student hub at PJ with centralised campuses around Sunway & Monash University.
A brand new food items on Garage 51 menu, with much potentials to entice patrons’ tastebuds. You shoudn’t leave the café without a sip of these giant milk shakes, so called ’The Messed Up Family’, extremely famous in Australia. A-must-try carrot walnut cake! Wonderfully moist and packed with comforting flavours from spices, Societe’s carrot cakes are so good that it will turn an non-carrot cake lover into one. Smoked salmon with avocado, salsa & cream cheese, sandwiched in a fluffy bagel, providing a pleasant half-pound or so of fresh-tasting, finely balanced nutrition.
2. Wild Sheep Chase
Wild Sheep Chase is located directly opposite Taman Desa Hospital in KL; their signature is a souffle that's based on a Taiwanese cafe's recipe that Chris & Sujian learned, with tweaks to make it rise triumphantly in KL. Do not leave the café without having vanilla soufflé. Homemade with love using the farm eggs and real vanilla, served with grapefruit sorbet and your choice of orange sauce or osmanthus maple syrup! Taste so good!
3. Ichiban The Izakaya
This Japanese restaurant located beside the HSBC outlet within the New Wing of One Utama, PJ. Ichiban the Izakaya compiles perennial Japanese cuisine fare under one roof from Sashimi and Sushi to grilled Yakitori skewers and Tempura, in a casual izakaya setting that is ideal for chilling over drinks and bites. Izakaya is a common Japanese bar or restaurant that is often found in cosmopolitan areas for after work relaxation and an opportunity to unwind after a busy day. 4. Top Catch Fisheries
Top Catch is located in Overseas Union Garden near the OUG market, PJ. It’s not a Japanese restaurant if you wonder, but just a small little shop that sells fresh seafood at affordable price. Therefore, there is no seats in the shop. However, customers can bring the sashimi home or eat it right outside, fresh & nicely chilled, at the kopitiam tables. Top catch never use preservation or synthetic chemicals for their seafoods.
5. Sushi Jiro
Good Japanese food at affordable prices is no longer a dream. Sushi Jiro is definitely the place to be the next time you crave for great Japanese food with great value. Sushi Jiro located at 2nd floor, south court of Mid Valley City in KL. It's a conveyor belt sushi, the food variety are more to sushi and only five type of noodles, Salad, Canwanmushi & Miso Soup. A must try Japanese restaurant for people who love Japanese food but with limited budget!
