If you have never heard about Shinmapo Korean BBQ, you’re probably missing out! Shinmapo, the Korea's No. 1 BBQ restaurant has more than 500 outlets worldwide, with more than 430 outlets in Korea – it is so popular among the Koreans, so you can definitely expect some really authentic flavours in Shinmapo, as well as exciting new flavours that are ready to wow your taste buds.

High Quality Meat Selections – The Meat Eaters Paradise!

Shinmapo offers a variety of high quality meat selections ranging from beef to pork and seafood – meat lovers rejoice, this is a true paradise for you! There are a la carte choices and also BBQ sets that serve up to 4 pax, depends on your needs.

Beef Selections

You’ll never be disappointed by the beef selections in Shinmapo, with choices of short rib, brisket point, rib finger and beef belly – all of your favourite cuts for BBQ can be seen on the menu!

What’s more exciting is you get to experience the great taste of premium Wagyu beef here – the perfectly marbled Wagyu cut is lightly marinated and charcoal-grilled to perfection, tastes ultimately tender and juicy, it is absolutely lip-smacking and hard to resist!

Pork Selections

When it comes to BBQ business, it is an endless debate on which is better – beef or pork? Take our sincere advice, just do both! Shinmapo’s pork selections is equally appealing, with plentiful choices include pork skirt meat, pork belly, pork neck, pork collar, and even pork skin!

We highly recommend you to try out Shinmapo’s signature pork skirt meat. Go for the spicy marinated version – not only does it tastes very succulent, but also impressively flavourful that’ll make you keep asking for more! The best method to enjoy the pork skirt meat is to pair it with freshly grilled pineapple – yes you heard me right, this is a very unique way to enjoy Korean BBQ and it can only be found in Shinmapo. The caramelised pineapple complements the barbequed meats so well, certainly a heaven-made match!

Naw, of course you’re not going to miss out the Korean BBQ’s must-have? No fancy seasonings needed here, enjoy the original pork belly that’s diligently grilled to slightly crispy finish, and don't say we didn't warn you, this is as addictive as crack!

Aside from the grilled pineapple that had been mentioned earlier, it is recommended to enjoy your BBQ cuts with the side dishes served too – wrap it up with lettuce or pickled radish slice, your choice! Another great tip: Pajeori (Spicy Green Onion Salad) that’s served as side dish goes really well with lettuce wraps, remember to try it out!

Seafood Selections

Shinmapo does offer seafood too – spicy octopus, fresh scallop, cuttlefish, etc. There are also plenty of mushroom and veggie options for you to choose from.

Shinmapo’s half shell scallop is topped with cheese, giving it a more distinctive flavour – the taste of ocean with a cheesy kick, sounds inviting? Also, need no words for the spicy octopus, because we all know it should never be left out of a true Korean BBQ feast!

Coal Roasted Sweet Potato

Soon will be on the menu, the coal roasted sweet potato is soft, moist and honey-sweet, we’re very sure that it will become your new favourite!

Signature Kimchi Egg Crust

We have often seen melty cheese ring being served alongside Korean BBQ, but this is our first time seeing an egg ring crust – crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with kimchi bits that enhance the flavours and texture, this egg crust itself is certainly worth the effort of visiting here.

Volcano Fried Rice

Another highlight that’s worth mentioning is the table-cooked Volcano Fried Rice. Egg juice that embodies hot lava is being poured over volcano-shaped fried rice – soft, creamy and fluffy scrambled egg is such a perfect complement to the flavoursome fried rice, this is undoubtedly delicious and tummy filling as well.

Fist Rice

Your mama may not allow you to play with rice at home, it’s okay since you can do it in Shinmapo anytime! The Fist Rice is so ‘fun’ to enjoy, and no worries about getting the rice all over your hands because you will be provided with disposable plastic gloves. Place the rice balls on the grill so you will get a crisp outer layer – so good.

Army Stew & Korean Pollack Soup

It’s always good to have something soupy to balance out the BBQ feast. Army Stew would be a great pick for anyone who loves spicy flavoured soup (and ramyun), or Korean Pollack Soup that’s cooked with dried pollock strips and radish.

Spicy Buckwheat Noodles

Finish off with a bowl of cold noodles – the Koreans love to have cold noodles after enjoying BBQ to balance out the heatiness. Springy buckwheat noodles soaked in spicy and sourish cold soup, what a perfect way to end the feast!

Strawberry Skillet Dessert

If you still have room for desserts, you might want to give this Strawberry Skillet Dessert a try. Buttery toffee crust baked in skillet pan, coupled with fresh strawberries and a scoop of strawberry ice cream, heavenly.

Soju & Rice Wine

Shinmapo is serving alcoholic beverages like soju and rice wine with several flavours to choose from
always a nice complement to the Korean BBQ feast at your table!
