All around the year, there would be many people travelling by flights off or within Malaysia. It can be either during the festive seasons or the school holidays, there would be people getting ready to fly back to their hometown or travelling to other countries for holiday. Early check-in is a normal thing to do and yet there is additional time for waiting for the flight. Why not go for food hunting before heading off for the flight? There are few restaurants that are recommended for you.


Isaac Toast & Coffee is a famous café from Korea and now they are in Malaysia, at KLIA 2! No matter you are heading off or coming back, you also get to spot them because there is often a long queue here.

There are eight types of toast from the two series which is the Bacon & Ham and the Meat & Hash brown that you can choose. The price ranges from RM 12 which is the Ham & Cheese till RM17 which is the Very Hot Chicken Cutlet. As for drinks, there are coffees, Frappuccino and various kinds of tea.

At this outlet, it is pork free and the Chicken-Bacon and Ham is all from Korea. The egg in the toast is also made similarly as the Korean outlet. They are open for 24 hours a day which you all get to eat it at any hour.

Family Mart @ KLIA 2

There have been numerous Family Marts in the Klang Valley and they even opened an outlet at the KLIA 2. Family Mart may be a convenient store but there is various foods available like the bread, cakes, dessert and hot food.

Coming to Family Mart, the Oden is one of the must to try! Oden is one of the famous food in Japan and Taiwan’s convenient store and yet Malaysian always wanted to try it, now, you can have it at Family Mart. There is two types of broth of Oden which it the Original and Tom Yum, you get to choose the ones you like!

Other than Oden, you can also try their Onigiri, also known as the Rice Ball. There are many flavours that you can choose from to fill up your tummy if the Oden is not enough for you.

Having a sweet tooth?  The desserts here will help you to deal with your cravings. Their Matcha Roll and Softserve is one of their signature desserts! The Matcha Roll is rich with the Matcha flavour and the roll is filled with cream and red beans. As for their Matcha Softserve, it is sold at reasonable price and tasty. Sometimes there are some Softserve with seasonal flavours sold here, do come and catch them.

Mitsui Outlet Park

Nearby the KLIAs, there is the Mitsui Outlet Park which is a good place to shop and there are several recommended restaurants. Within the recommended once, most of them are Japanese restaurant but there is also a Thai food restaurant for you to choose.


At here, you can get the meals in set of Rice or Udon. Having the meals in sets would ease the diners for ordering of food especially after shopping for quite some time.


Senya serves different kinds of Teriyaki dishes and the servings are quite big portion. So, ladies should consider in sharing their meal. Their Saba Fish and Pork Katsu are greatly recommended!


The Ramen is one of the traditional Japanese food that should not be missed. The Ramen soup and noodle is the attractive key here, rich soup with the handmade springy noodle makes a wonderful combination. There is the Japanese Thick Roast Meat on top of the Ramen, just by looking at it, it just make you hungry!


The fresh Sashimi here is the signature of the shop. The Sashimis are all imported from Japan through airfreight and it is handled by the professional chefs. The Sashimi is served at the best condition and it is hardly to forget the taste. If you are not a fan of Sashimi, maybe the Sushi would be a choice for you?
