However, it's also one of the most unhygienic places that we have been, with hoards of flies swarming the uncovered dishes! We were blessed that we didn't get food poisoning for the rest of our holiday.

Despite them, the dishes are actually pretty good. I like the fried chicken and vege which were served right after cooking so they are still hot. The beef was ok and the egg was quite oily...

After reading much rave about this ikan bakar, we went to try it since we came all the way from KL. The ikan bakar station is part of a big mix rice shop. The shop has a HUGE variety of Malay dishes for you to choose from. The ikan bakar is a 'free to take' station, meaning you don't get to order but take from the 'ready to serve' counter where you get to choose which fish you want there. After reading much rave about this ikan bakar, we went to try it since we came all the way from KL. The ikan bakar station is part of a big mix rice shop. The shop has a HUGE variety of Malay dishes for you to choose from. The ikan bakar is a 'free to take' station, meaning you don't get to order but take from the 'ready to serve' counter where you get to choose which fish you want there. But to our disappointment, the fish is not something to shout about. It taste pretty ordinary. In fact, taken away the sauce on top, the meat itself is very very bland. Not to mention the eating area is laden by flies. It's like a colony is staying there, it's a very uncomforable sight and experience. I was also taken aback by the price of the fish that cost RM24 because we were expecting a much cheaper price, considering that it's a warong and seafood is everywhere...
