I ordered the mee sua for lunch as I was very pretty cold that day. Their mee sua is simply delicious. It came with meat balls. The meat balls tasted really good. It was bouncy and have this QQ feeling. The mee sua was cooked perfectly, so smooth and delicious. The soup was another killer, it was so tasty. The texture is pretty thick, it was not too salty nor was it too bland. One of the nicer mee sua I have tasted around.

I was feeling a little under the weather so my colleague helped me to takeaway the mushroom pork porridge from xiao bar wang. It was so delicious, the porridge itself tasted very tasty. It was not too salty nor was it too bland. The pork was very tender. The mushroom tasted very juicy. The portion was pretty reasonable for the price I paid. It was indeed a nice warm bowl of food!

The braised chicken drumstick noodles from xiao bar wang is indeed wholesome. The drumstick they give was really meaty. It was braised perfectly. At every bite of the drumstick, you can totally taste the braised sauce. The chicken drumstick is so tender and juicy. Along with the chewy and springy noddles and the crunchy vegetables, it makes a very hearty meal.

I happened to walk pass xiao bar wang, decided to order the crispy chicken 咸酥鸡 for snack. It was really delicious! The chicken despite being deep fried, it still tasted very tender and juicy. It was not too oily too. I like how they seasoned the chicken, gives extra flavours to it. It was especially crunchy and you can practically hear the crunch whenever you eat it.

My colleagues recommended me to xiao bar wang. They have been raving that it sold really great Taiwanese food. I decided to bring my daughter there to give it a try. We ordered the braised pork rice. It was really good, tasted so similar to the one we had in taiwan night market. The braised pork was really tasty. It was a tad too salty, but I guess it was cooked this way so that you can match it with the rice. As a whole I found it really tasty and mouth watering.
