This restaurant recommended to me by my sister. So on 3rd February, I went there to give it a shot.Entering the restaurant, you can feel like you're going to have a dinner in Kampung. Classic arrangement with wooden table setting, some antiques and county side theme wallpaper. But interior is quite smoky though as they're having live Satay grilling session by the side of the restaurant. But still convenience enough to enjoy your food there.Menu wise, there's not much but varies from western to eastern to local. They're ranging from satay, lempeng (malay pancake), ubi rebus (boiled tapioca), chicken chop, grilled lamb and a few more. I've ordered satay (chicken meat & lamb). The taste is just nice. Peanut paste should be compliment as the taste are just right for their satay. Served with onion and cucumber. Cost per satay is RM0.70. Standard market price nowadays. I also ordered rabbit and deer satay. Not up to satisfactory but still edible and manage to finish it up. It's not that bad though. Cost per satay is RM1.50. Drinks are quite nice but not that varies. No special drinks but they do serve cendol. Nice taste, but lacking in gula merah syrup. For western, I ordered oblong. The burger comes together with fries and coleslaw. Nice taste, and the beef inside is tender and rich in taste. Overall, this is a perfect restaurant to enjoy dinner with family or friends hanging out. If you are satay fanatics, you shouldn't miss this place. continue reading
