Hong Kong Kim Gary Restaurant (Closed)

The weekly family lunch was at Kim Gary. They really serve authentic Hong Kong food. I decided to go western and order their pork chop cutlet. This is one of the best pork chops I have eaten. The pork chop was simply so tender and the meat was totally juicy. I know pork chop if overcooked can turn out dry and tough but this was definitely not the case for Kim Gary. They served it with a corn cob, really juicy and delicious.

I highly recommend the borsh soup from kind Gary. I have never tasted borsh soup so delicious as theirs. Their soup is not too watery. You can see real tomato pieces inside the soup. The soup was not only sour, it was also sweet too. I guess the acidity came from the fresh tomato that they used to boil the soup while they added enough onions to give the soup a sweetish taste. It was very appetite evoking. Every time I would slurp up every bit of it.

I think Kim Gary sells quite a fusion of food. I spotted a korean stone pot also known as bibimbap. I was pretty excited to give it a try. It took them pretty long to serve this dish, cos probably a lot of time is needed to heat up the entire stone pot. I like their kimchi, it tasted different from the korean kinds, it tasted more of sweet than sour. Their chilli paste to mix with the rice was pretty good, it was sweetish and not too spicy. It was indeed a delicious dish!

他点了一碗牛肉韩国面，他最喜欢吃韩国面了，家里吃出外都不由自主地买来吃了。韩国面吃起来比较有弹性，而且韩国面的辣全吸进面了，可惜牛肉烤过火很难咽，浪费了那个牛肉啊。

我点了这里的unagi 石头饭，虽然等待的时间不长可使因为早午餐还没吃所以有点不耐烦。终于上来了，unagi烤得很香，unagi 的表层很有光泽，而且很新鲜，石头好像只是装饰，对我来说对食物每多大特别功效。

KSL 是新山新开不久的百货公司，很多在新加坡的游子还有新加坡人都会来这里逛逛。我约了朋友来到这里已经中午了，我们来到这间kimgary。点餐的服务员很有礼貌，可是送东西上来的服务员竟然没有说任何东西把东西放上桌子就走了。我只是觉得至少要叫我们小心点不然烫到人可使很不好咯。

Here is one of my most favourite food. The cheese baked rice here is very nice to eat. First of all, the cheese isn't watery at all. Second, the cheese is very thick and the cheese aroma smell very nice. I like to order their pork cheese baked rice here. The pork chop is quite big in pieces and the whole pork is cover very nicely by the cheese. The rice is a bit sticky because of the cheese too.

I drove over to Kim Gary at KSL for lunch with my colleagues.
