On 28th July, I went to Arashi Japanese Shabu-Shabu located at KSL for celebrating my friend's birthday. The environment of the restaurant is quite nice. There is not a lot of people and the interior design is pretty, the light is not too bright. Most of us ordered hotpot, and I ordered one chicken hotpot and one Salmon and Pork hotpot. There are lots of vegetables in a dish, and I like the taste of the soup - Herbal Soup.Besides, one of the highlight of this restaurant is the sauce. There is a table in the restaurant where all the sauces were located. I think the Satay Sauce and the Sesame Sauce is my favourite.

shabu shabu，去到johor也不忘这个我爱的美食。这一间餐馆有着很漂亮的装潢，我想来这里的顾客都会爱上这里。这里都用迷你小煲，这样虽然比较麻烦一点，但是很卫生。自己用自己的煲。他们的食物料理非常新鲜，种类也很多。

The food was so memorable that I had to bring my entire family to try it!! They were impressed by the decoration & setting of the restaurant. They were surprised that the price is quite reasonable given the posh-ness of the interior. As mentioned, don't judge the book by its cover.Moreover, we saw Chew Chor Meng with his family dining there too.. Wishing lobang king a speedy recovery & hope to see him on screen again soon.. =)This time, I ordered the chicken & pork shabu set with miso soup base & rice. As usual, it comes with a generous portion of meat on top of a generous portion of vegetables. The rice was soft & fragrant.Towards the end, when I've cooked all the ingredients, I added the wafu sauce (sesame seed) to add more flavour.Dessert is served..Wildberry Panna Cotta.I just wish the serving portion is as generous as the shabu set as this milk-based dessert is so smooth. The restaurant is currently having a 50% off for selected dessert. Not sure when it will end though..

The restaurant is very well decorated and furnished, with a nice ambience. Seating is well spaced too. We tried the mini pot steamboat and they have a good selection of soup base. The mala spicy soup and milk based soup were both flavorful. Being a mini pot, it is suitable for customers that prefer not to share saliva with others, heh heh, and is able to choose the cooking order. Each set of ingredients are one person portion, quite balanced. They also provide a good range of sauce and dips for customers to mix and concoct to personal favourite taste. I just loved to have steamboat in a cool air-conditioned place, and this is one good option.

I like to eat stamboat.Arashi Shabu shabu has many kind of soup base.Last time i went there i tried the kimchi soup,so now i decided to try the herbal soup with beef.The soup was delicious and best of all is that you can ask them to refill for you.When you put the beef into your mouth,the beef taste immediately flow surround your mouth.Besides that,they also have variety choices of sauce for you to choose.It gives you more selection.
