This is awesome with the short table wait time, especially when I'm starving!
My friend offered me a discount voucher of MYNY Restaurant, and as I'm looking for a restaurant for my lunch, this restaurant came up to my mind. The food may not looks good, but the taste is not too cheesy. I wouldn't rate the spaghetti at a high rating, but the serving time is really good for not keeping me waiting too long. At my hunger stage, I think that food at least is good enough to satisfy me. There have a few slices of ham pieces which I feel the price is abit overrated for this pasta. But who cares, I have discount voucher, that's why i'm here.

I ordered Teh Ais Limau at RM1.90. During the hot season, the drink is so good to cool down and the limau is just nice with the tea!I give this pasta one star out of five, as truly the marinara sauce is not my thing. 
But the meatballs shown in the menu are tempting enough for me to order that. 
I have too much expectations on the pasta, maybe this is why it fails to impress me.The restaurant is opposite SMK Air Putih, do not be surprised if you see a bunch of students there. This is a great place for people who needs wifi for their schoolworks and so. The wifi speed is quite stable and for the bread lovers, the breads are worth a grab too

It's my third time coming to this restaurant. 
But everytime, I ordered something different, but I am happy that the food never fails to impress me all 3 times. 
On my first visit, I ordered Fried Pan Mee, Price: RM 7.50 
This is something unique to me as I have never try Fried Pan Mee like this, it can only be found in this restaurant for me, so far. 
There are veggies, anchovies, just like our usual pan mee, but the different thing is unlike the normal dry pan mee we eat, the fried pan mee has a thick gravy and that aroma captured me that I would go for it!On my second visit, I ordered the Mee Mamak. I was expecting it to be the usual mamak style but the mee mamak tastes different and being a "limau-lover",I requested for extra lime for the food. The bean curd is one of my favourite, it is abit spicy but I think the spicyness goes well with the taste!On my third visit, which is today, I ordered the American Breakfast Sandwich set. I would say I like the sandwich but not the fries. If you love crispy and overly fried fries, this will be your choice, but for me, it would taste better if it's slightly sloggy

Bentong is a small town, where all the famous food/stall are just walking distance away.
Thong Kee is my favourite place despite it has no air-conditioning dining environment, noisy and...you know, kopitiam style, but i'd tell you, kopitiam is where you can find real-ncie food!

Everybody comes here for its famous baked bun （烧树油）and icy cold drinks （劲抽冰，1+1冰,掺冰）A big portion of milk tea without losing the aroma of coffee; not too sweet yet best for big hot day; traditional Hainan bun that feels so nostalgia when everybody opt for pastry/waffle in cafe out there. Well, you might wanna know more about what's inside 1+1 / 劲抽冰, (if I'm not mistaken), one with more coffee and another with more milk.

Don't miss their pan mee, wantan mee, char kuey teow too!

This restaurant is located at first world, genting highlands. The price of the food is high at genting. It is a normal norm because it is a place of tourist attractions. There are quite numerous choices of food. The portion of the pork belly is not very large but tasted nice. The portion is of normal claypot size. You can either eat with rice or without rice. 

There were 4 of us (adult) going out for dinner on usual day. We often ordered this combo set. It is RM 50 that contain 4 dishes, 4 chinese tea, and 4 white rice.

Frankly speaking, there isn't a lot of chinese restaurant in Kemaman, hence the chance we eat in the same restoran is very very HIGH, unlike those in KL, PJ area.  I miss PJ food~~ 

OKay, anyway, this restaurant has the highest chance that we will eat repeatly, because it's relatively afforable, and delicious. The food is relatively heavy in term of seasoning btw. So you are those who eat lightly, you might not like this. 

But our family enjoyed the meal. Macao Kam Heng Fish. 

Special right? Despite the average environment, their food is quite delicious , and cater to fit Chinese who love to eat carbo, and dishes that is fulfilling. 

The chef first fried the macao fish, then prepared the sauce separately. The sauce itself is quite full-flavour that it elevated our appetite to eat it. that 4 of us voted it has the most delicious among the 4. Simmered Pork

IT is a bit briny to fit our taste. Kangkung with Belacan

YOu will seldom go wrong with the belacan sauce. So this dishes is our favourite too! Bitterground FU Yong egg

This is a restaurant by a young husband and wife. I can't stop praising about their creativity.
My brother is someone who don't eat bitter. but this bitterground, added in a small amout into egg, with the sweet bbq pork , it is less bitter than the usual one. And the onion also a sweet one. So it's delicious overall. SO here is the  menu that we ordered.   Total paid is RM 51.20. THat is worthy considered how delicious it was.

you happen to be at kemaman & 
you don't find any food to eat &
you want something fulfilling and carbohydrating & 
you are bored of eating STUFF crab (which is a signature in Kemaman)

THEN, you can consider this place. Eventhough the environment is so unlikely a kopitam
. 

As a mini weekend getaway, my mom decided to bring her friends and myself to this restaurant which was a rather relaxing place to have brunch at. Though be warned, if you are there any later than 11pm then you would find it a struggle to get into as there's only one way in & out which is via the bridge; plus there's a scarce number of parking spaces. Also you would want to pick your table which the best place to be seated is down by the river. Which I assume is the coolest spot, in terms of weather conditions. A must order at this place is their steamed kampung chicken. Apparently the meat is fresh as the animal is killed to order or at least that's what they say. Even if the chicken is not immediately slaughtered then it is done so early in the morning to present optimum freshness.

This half of the bird was pretty good, though the meat was lacking in the springyness that comes from a good kampung chicken. The other half of the chicken is cooked braised in ginger sauce. This was one of my favourite dishes as the flavour was good. Another order that was my favourite is the herbal soup with pork meat. Apparently this soup had been brewing since the crack of dawn to provide maximum flavour and I believe them. The herbal scent & taste was thick and the soup had an immense amount of depth in flavour. I had two helpings of this. Something that comes highly recommended by the restaurant is their wild boar dishes. A famous way of cooking the exotic meat is to be braised in curry but we opted for it to be stir-fried with ginger and scallions. This isn't a very common and easily found dish in KL so this was interesting.

The meat is more chewy and less fatty than regular pork, so there's more bite to this. Plus there's a very distinct meaty taste that not even plenty of ginger or scallion can cover. Worth a try if wild boar meat is something you have yet to taste. 

The place isn't very easily found, but waze will guide you there easily. However if you are up for the drive out of KL then this is an interesting restaurant to have a meal at, especially for a family day out. 

I was lucky to have been brought to this restaurant to try something that they are quite popular for - their Soon Hock fish. Apparently this fish is also known as Marble Goby fish in English and considered one of the largest species in Malaysia. Also one of the more expensive kind.

No surprise as the one that we were served was a whole whopping 7kgs and priced at Rm180 per kg, you can imagine just how much our meal came up to.

Because we did not want to only have one dish, the person that brought us to this restaurant suggested that we have half the fish steamed and the other fried. Smart move because this way we have more varieties. The first method of cooking is steaming the Soon Hock with sweet soya sauce and lots of fried garlic. I now understand why this fish his so highly priced and also why people always say that the bigger this fish is, the better. 

There's something very meaty about the Soon Hock. While some fish are soft & tender, this was crunchy, juicy and also succulent. I do not know how to describe it exactly but there is definitely no need for rice as you eat this fish. They also gave us different kinds of condiments, two being requested by a friend as she's the regular customer there. So she asked for a plate of fried shallots & garlic with some soya sauce for everyone and said that this is good to eat with the fish - which was very true. Then chili & garlic in soya sauce, fish sauce and some lime juice which happened to be my favourite.

The service there is excellent even if there were many other tables filled with patrons. Then there is also the deep fried Soon Hock with sweet soya sauce to go with it. Just like the first, the meat was very succulent and crunchy which proves it's freshness. I like this dish as well cause even thought the fish was deep fried, it wasn't oily at all. 

I think, if you're either going up to or coming down from Genting, this is a nice place to stop by for a meal. Especially if you enjoy fish and would like a good meal from time to time. 

The beef rice tasted good and acceptable. Its sauce also different and come with small amount. The plate design is nice as well. The price is much more higher because the shop location. It is located at Genting highlands. However, I like the atmosphere very much. And I like the decorations very much.

份量刚刚好不必太撑有机蔬菜火锅门口就有阿贤守着晚餐嫌早这个时段，就有三四桌在打边炉了

在金马伦这般气候，就算是让你中午打边炉也没啥问题啦咱们五人行，店家说可以拿四人份的配套

咱们就要了两人份的素食火锅套餐+两人份荤食鸡汤火锅套餐RM21.20/person (include gst 6%)

店家采用的是炭烧火锅

一般的火锅涮料，都是以海鲜为住，蔬菜只是作为配料

但这家火锅店，我们可以看到他们所提供的蔬菜种类和分量也特别多

除了各种的有机蔬菜外，还有鸡肉、鱼丸、腐片、蟹柳、苏东、海蜇

以及火锅套餐里总是少不了的鸡蛋和豆腐以及有机米粉蔬菜香味缭绕零负担感觉有木有？

这里冲的teh boh和普通在吉隆坡喝到的 家里自己充的 味道是不一样的。
对我来说这里是我每一次来金马伦必去的地方~
这里味道浓郁，也比较顺口~冷冷的天气喝一杯热热的 teh boh，加上无敌风景，人生一大享受~
价钱方面呢，当然是比较贵的，但是出来旅行嘛就不用太计较了，开心吃美食是最重要的！
蛋糕选择的方面是有几种选择，我选择了marble & oreo cheese cake。
这里出名的是茶叶，不是蛋糕，所以味道也还一般~接受的来~
另外 这里经常人山人海 尽量选在不是公共假期的日子来吧 如果你是想要一览无遗地看那片绿油油的茶叶farm~

The kopitiam near the gohtong jaya tasted not bad. There are quite many people around there. The shop is located quite strategic because normally people will stop somewhere for lunch on the way home especially from genting. The price is quite ok and around RM10+ one person.

moh moh cha Cha is very good here. taste and texture smooth and delicious. others like mango pudding is moderate. the tomato noodles is appetizing and worth to dry. the noodles is added with egg and chicken. keropok here is good too. environment is quite good also.

the wanton noodles is famous here. the shop have been operating many years here. the wanton noodles textures is very good(弹牙）， additional with chicken gravy source, allow the noodles to be more smooth and slippery, taste very good when entering the mouth. the kon lou dark source with noodles is well proportional.

Hi Kemamanian!! There is a new floating cafe opening here in Kemaman!! Just newly open for around 1 week only. I have been there for twice. I am so excited , feel like want to blurt everything now. ~~ But let my pics talk us =D First glance at the restaurant. Purposely took this angle so that the entire ...roof can be shoot in. The food that we order. BTW, the hot chocolate is not in the current menu. CY just ordered it. Plain water is for free of course, and bottomless. And for 2 times our patronise there, no GST was charged. Carbonara Rm 13.30

Carbonara always my favourite. Not that watery, but a bit sticky. I like how it garnish with mushroom! We used like 5 mins to take photo before try on it. End up, the carbonara was a little chill, personally feel that the taste would be more flavourful while eating hot. Overall, it's pleasantly common delicious.

One of the reason that I like here, because the carbonara here is cheaper Rm 7 than one of the restaurant in Kemaman. Though both were equally good, and same portion =D Marinara Chicken Pasta RM 15.30

Marinara refer to Marinara Sauce, an Italian sauce made with tomato, garlic, herbs and onion. (source from Wikipedia) . Quattro Cheese Salami Pizze Rm24.30

The 4 cheeses are mozzarella cheese, gouda, , Cheddar and parmesean. topping on Beef salami strip. The combination of all the cheeses and the marinara sauce is really yum! Like taste heavily flavourful. But the crust of the pizza is quite hard. Even biscuit is crunchier than the crust. Later on I just found out that I can actually choose the hand tossed which is like the pizza hut one. This one is just to show how thin is the hard crust ~~ LOL Special menu of the day. Strawberry chocolate pie!!! I usually go to fridge to see what is the dessert of the day. Normally, just 1 type of dessert.and make new friends too! Meet Peeboo and Shane Leong(right). He is a tattoo artist in Kemaman. If you want to see his masterpiece, you can go to @shanetattoostudio in instagram. His drawing is quite complex, complicated, and gothic and cute!

Okay, now the environment of the restaurant. Open kitchen style, LIke! Just notice there is a menu on board. I usually just order from menu booklist. The right side one is the fridge that I went to see what's the dessert available. Floating restaurant. Literally FLOATING, cause the restaurant will sway when huge wave or when it's going to rain soon. Really like the environment of the restaurant. Chilly and breezy environment.

Chef Ahmad has like 15 years experience in cooking. This is the 8th restaurant he has been work for, and he previously help to start-up a new restaurant , kind of like consultant, and give training to the employee also.Chef Ahmad with the modern gas-pizza oven. This is where our pizza was burnt before it served! I didnt eat the lamb, but he just being friendly show me what's is signature in Kayak Cafe, and how this were home-made. The dishes that he recommended? Combo Jerk (Rm24.30)

Verdict:

Generally, this restaurant would be a new chillax point for me in Kemaman, as there is really not much eatery at night, Most of the time, it would be limited to either choice A or B, and that's all. The opening of this new restaurant open a more choice for us while chillax or YUm Cha. Serving Italian cuisine. Would recommend to add on more snack to munch.

Price range from Rm 3 - 25 per person.

Like when I just ordered the snack, it cost me Rm 4.

When I ordered spagetti and pizza, it cost me Rm 26 to share with my partner.
