Hometown steamboat not only is well known with its steamboat, but its cheesy pot as well. It is like a side dish cost around 19. It is a pot with cheese soup inside. It comes with french fries, fried pork/fish. Hot the cheese and put in the fries inside. The delicious cheese will fill your mouth and super yummy!!! Nice Cheese, but remember not to eat too much. A group of friends we were having steamboat gathering in Kota Damansara. Thanks for one of our friend organising such gathering let us taste such great steamboat. We have our steamboat cooked with soup, tom yum and porridge flavour! Seafood add on to the soup and porridge is a perfect match! Prawn acts very important role in steamboat! Without it, will be tasteless! We love the prawns, meatballs, fish balls, bean curds and many other food! Especially the chicken wings, when it started to serve, finished quickly too! The restaurant non-stop cooking yummy chicken wings to serve their customers! Awesome dinner and gathering we were having tonight! Environment not bad too!

coming to Hometown Steamboat, i think one of their specialty that makes them stand out from other steamboat outlets is that they have chocolate fondue! their chocolate fondue is surprisingly worthy at a price approximately RM20++. for a type of dessert that is meant to be shared, i'd suggest having this only when you're eating with a group instead. the chocolate fondue consists of mixed fruit (chopped apple, strawberries and banana), mini chocolate cookies, chocolate love letters (biscuit rolls), marshmallows, sliced bread pieces and two flavours (minimum) of ice cream. the fruits were, frankly speaking, not frozen and cold, while the biscuits and marshmallows given in a small portion. but then again, for such a cheap price, i think you get what you pay for. the ice cream are also plain ones, that vary accordingly. on certain days they might give you a different flavor.

daily they have so much of people dine in during dinner time especially here caters for youngsters.their price is really cheap and the steamboat ingredient is fresh too.all the seafood such as prawn and squid is all fresh and they have many variety to choose fromoutside there is chicken wing which we can order and they deliver on your table and only RM 2 per pair of chicken wing. the soup based for the steamboat is clear soup, tom yam soup or even they have pumpkin porridge .something new to try onusually i come here will ordered their orange juice as the drinks is really fresh orange.

Hometown steamboat is a not a buffer style steamboat restaurant. Their signature with cheesy steamboat and chocolate fondue among all the foods they served. They have variety choices of set, seafood set, meat set, vege set... and soup likes, clear, tomyum, porridge... are available here. This a normal steamboat restaurant but the ingredients are all fresh. There is side dish provided likes chicken wing, grill fish to diversify your steamboat meal , haha The price is consider cheap compare to other steamboat restaurant, around RM22/pax with a set and choco fondue.
