Banana CakeLuckily this Banana Cake saves the day! In my humble opinion, the cake is decently baked with an agreeably nice aroma of banana while retaining a springy texture, aIbeit it’s of drier version than the usual ones I take. If were to compared to their selection of chiffon bakeries, I would enjoy this much more for a more balanced proportion of the added baking soda. Apart from allowing a foodie to enjoy this nice pastry as a tea time snack, a much lesser of alkaline taste is detected too, thus making it more enjoyable.

Lavender Bakery really knows how to market itself. It's pretty, and their bright interiors, deco and logo never fails to draw me in. Their location at Mid Valley is superb, just right beside the entrance to AEON BIG (previously Carrefour). It's an open concept bakery so crowds are crazy there all the time. For me, there are some hits and misses. Because though they look super good, not all are yummy BUT I do love some of their producs loads.. especially the carrot loaf, Bonita Fish flakes and charcoal mochis. Yums Their cakes are only average in taste though...

Was wondering around Mid Valley Megamall the other day, and was feeling a bit peckish. Didn’t really want to have a sit down meal, so decided to pop by the nearest bakery to see what was interesting. Saw Lavender, with many customers in the shop. Went in and browsed around, and a roundish looking bun caught my eye. The cheese margarine bun has a layer of cheese shaped like a cross on top of it. Chewy and nice! The inside of the bun is nothing special, just with some margarine in it. Although the bun looks quite big, the inside is hollow, hence it makes a perfect afternoon snack.

朋友在lavender买了布丁回来。当下觉得很奇怪，去哪里不是应该买面包的吗？怎么会是布丁呢？但朋友极力推介说这很好吃我非试不可。吃了焦糖口味的。淡淡的奶香还有那微微的蛋香，香滑的布丁在口中慢慢化开。蛮有水准的布丁。
