As we march towards the festive season of Chinese New Year, the Dragon-i Group of Restaurants is giving all Malaysians the chance to enjoy the Prosperity Abalone Treasure Pot at home. From 1st December 2013 until 28 February 2014, customers get to dine-in or take away both the Prosperity Abalone Treasure Pot and the Signature Prosperity Abalone Treasure Pot and share with the family a memorable meal which symbolises unity and brings in good fortune for the New Year.
The Prosperity Treasure Pot and Signature Prosperity Treasure Pot were co-designed by Dragon-i’s chefs who hail from Shanghai and Hong Kong. Contained in a high quality steel pot, this remarkable dish is convenient to take away, and is easily reheated before serving. It will also be available for take away service on 30 January 2014 before 3 pm (Chinese New Year’s Eve).

The Prosperity Abalone Treasure Pot is packed with 18 delicacies: Braised Premium Chilean Abalone (12 heads), Sea Cucumber, Japanese Dried Scallops, Japanese Dried Oysters, Premium Mushrooms, Pantai Remis Fresh Sea Prawns, Roast Chicken, Braised Pork Belly, Golden Money Bags, Pork Balls, Dried Beancurd Skin, Yam, Black Moss, Chinese Cabbage, Broccoli, Deep-fried Beancurd Skin and Radish, all cooked in a superior Pork Bone Stock. It weighs a total of 9 lbs.
Dragon-i also offers the Signature Prosperity Abalone Treasure Pot for customers who want something even more supreme and exquisite. It is also packed with 18 premium delicacies: Braised Premium Chilean Abalone (10 heads), Premium Sea Cucumber, Shark’s Fin, Japanese Dried Scallops, Japanese Dried Oysters, Fish Maw, Goose Web, Roast Chicken, Braised Pork Belly, Pork Balls, Premium Mushrooms, Brazilian Matsutake Mushrooms, Shaggy Mane Mushrooms, Black Moss, Dried Beancurd Skin, Deep-fried Beancurd Skin and Bamboo Piths in Dragon-i’s Special Broth. Fried Glutinous Rice with Waxed Meats
Moreover, Dragon-i Group of Restaurants is also launching “Blissful Combo” for take away this festive season. It includes seven delicious dishes: the two main dishes "Blissful Combo” are Fried Glutinous Rice with Waxed Meats and Lao Sheng (Raw Salmon Fish with Jelly Fish Yu Sheng or Australian Abalone with Raw Salmon Fish Yu Sheng). The other dishes are Braised Pork Knuckle Shanghainese Style, Braised Chicken with Sea Cucumber and Abalone, Traditional Char-roast Goose, Braised Sea Cucumber with Mushrooms, Dried Oysters and Black Moss and Sautéed Mushroom with Five Treasure Vegetables.
Lao Sheng
Their fried glutinous rice with waxed meats is made with premium-quality fresh pork, fresh Grade Mushrooms and vegetables which will light up your taste buds. In addition, our lao sheng is made with colourful Chinese delicacies together with fresh raw fish fillets over which our specialty sauces are poured.
For Dragon-i Card and Hong Leong Credit & Debit Card holders, the Prosperity Abalone Treasure Pot is now available at a price of RM338++(original priced RM388). The Treasure Pot is bundled with eighteen ingredients and can be fully enjoyed by 6-8 persons.
