The shop which is easily spotted colored in red and It is one of the MUST buy food in Ipoh when there. This time, we headed there for some food and spotted the shop. It is simply well prepared in box for take away and we waited for 15 minutes for them to prepare for us. The chicken portion is small but the meat is tender as well as juicy too. The delights is amazingly good and I love the slight salty texture.

在怡保可以看到有很多店卖着盐焗鸡。这算是一道在怡保出名的美食之一！虽然有不同的店，但我最喜欢的还是宴琼林盐焗鸡。我觉得他们的鸡比较入味，我个人比较爱。现在还有vacuum pack可以买，真的很方便。可以买回家好几天后才吃！

这家怡宝著名的宴琼林盐焗鸡我吃了很多年，觉得还是很好吃。从烤炉里拿出来热气腾腾，滑嫩嫩的，他们的鸡肉的咸味刚刚好，皮滑不油腻，果然是老字号的店家，一只鸡价格大概RM17，这是非常便宜。

The salted chicken that we bought from Jalan Theatre was equally as good as the one bought from Laluan Tasek Perdana. I thought the dish has a bit more ‘chicken-y’ smell, but hubby said that he tasted no difference. The chicken was piping hot, smooth and tender, presumably it just came out from the baking area. Overall, there is not much difference between the two shops, both equally good with the same type of quality. Priced at RM17 a chicken, it was well worth the money paid.
