Well, am pretty sure that Penang is widely known by all as one of the best food haven here. One just can’t get enough to explore all the snacks that the Pearl of Orient got to offer. And that’s what keep me yearning and coming back for more! This time round, we pay a visit to one of the famous dim sum house in the town. Zim Sum Restaurant, is the trademark! This time round, we pay a visit to one of the famous dim sum house in the town. Zim Sum Restaurant, is the trademark! Initially I was captivated by its creative brand, “Zim Sum” instead of “Dim Sum”. Luckily, the food spread does meet my expectation, and I would give double thumbs up! ^^
It is located at the busy street, Anson Road where you will see crawls of traffic at most of the time. SO be smart to find you parking place^^. I also heard that at night, this restaurant would turn into a Korean Steamboat. Isn’t that cool? That, I’ll reserve for next visit, hehe..
It’s always that crowded in the morning. After all, who could resist such a alluring spread of yummy dim sums? ^^ I love their egg tart very much! It’s flaky on the pastry but silky with the egg custard within. The vanilla essence further improve the aroma without overdoing it. Carrot cake was fragrantly fried. It might be bit oily, but taste real good when eaten with their chilly sauce. Yippie! After eating all the fried snacks, you can opt for some Chinese cooling tonic to cool the body. It’s not bitter, so fret not, even cordycep-like herbs are added to it, as it is naturally sweetened by dates and wolfberries.
