No other better way to cool down after a hot walk through georgetown than a ball of sweet ice! This ball of sweet ice or better known as ice kepal is something everyone would like. For some, this is a memento from our childhood past. The ice ball is literally shaved ice, molded into a ball by hands. Then it will be douzed with a scoop or two of sweet syrup. The way to enjoy this cool treat is by sucking the syrup from the ice ball. You cannot slush the ice becaue it is usually served in a very shallow container (during the old times on a piece of plastic sheet). You would have to continuously eat the ice before it all melts ang get you messy! The serving is rather large so I would suggest sharing between 2 at least. There are a variety of flavours o choose from but I would suggest go for the classic rose syrup. If you have never tried this before, I would highly recommend you to check out this little stall because these little icy treats are hard to find.
