i am a big foodie...and since moving to kl to study i have been on a mission to discover all the best places to eat.

when my friend knew about this,he introduced me to a japanese restaurant.he said they have the best value for money buffet and the quality of the food will amaze you.

so i just had to give it a try..off we went to maiu japanese restaurant in sri petaling.it is abit difficult to locate if you are not familiar with the area.

luckily my friend drove us and he has been to this restaurant so many times,he can drive there with his eyes closed.
oh yes,we need to make a reservation before going.

so when we got there, our table was ready and they gave us a menu which we had to write down how many of each dish we wanted.i think its called ala carte buffet style.

so we ordered and the food came dish by dish..here are the pictures!

this is the sashimi boat....by far one of the best sashimi i have had in a a buffet.
we were so happy when it arrived because we were looking forward to it the whole time.
the moment when u put the piece of salmon or tuna or butter fish in your mouth,it tasted so fresh and i thought my salmon melted away as soon as i bit it...

and at last,we ordered ice-cream..they have 3 flavours: chocolate, green tea and wasabi..
the wasabi and green tea came with alittle bit of red bean on top..

we ate so much ice cream..just to prove it look at the picture below!

leaning tower of ice-cream bowls!
i didn't fancy the wasabi ice-cream but the chocolate and green tea ice creams were so delicious..we just couldnt stop eating it.

if i were asked to recommend a japanese buffet restaurant,i would pick this over others any time not only for its phenomenal quality of food but also its really affordable price and not to mention the awesome service we get there....
