14 February, Valentines Day. But at the same time, it was also still in the midst of Chinese New Year, especially for us who were singles
Hence, the best choice was to go for steamboat with your loved ones and the perfect place for steamboat was definitely - Fat One Steamboat!

Situated in the proximity of Sunway Pyramid, Fat One Steamboat offered fresh food ranging from tasty fried noodles, fried crispy 'wanton', fried 'man tou', french fries to fresh ingredients such as seafood, raw fishballs, vegetables and freshly cut fruits. Having fresh ingredients was the ultimate reason to why you should dine at Fat One, afterall, anything stale would just ruin the taste of even the best dish cooked by the most skillful chef. Aside from being fresh, the cooked food provided were delectable as well and customers were spoiled by choices by the variety of ice-cream you could lick on for dessert to make the dining experience at Fat One to a perfect completion.

Moreover, I liked the fact that you could choose if you wanted the soup to be tom yam flavoured or just plain herbal or even have both - the best of both worlds. Both flavours had their own unique tastiness. In Fat One, the food was placed right in the centre of the restaurant and hence made it more convenient for everyone. Being air-conditioned, customers did not have to worry that they would be perspiring away and feeling stuffy while having their 'lok lok' too.

If you're the kind who's impatient when it comes to eating, no fear, you could just use your bare hands to tear off the meat (such as that of the fried honey barbeque-ed chicken, picture below) as there were facilities for you to wash your hands off the oil cleanly after that.
