First few places on the list since we moved back to KL. Nasi lemak with fried chicken was excellent...very well marinated and well-fried. Had extra sambal to go with it...one of the best I’ve tasted!!We were in a group of 9; didn’t have to wait at all. Was there on a Wed at 1030am. Place was comfortable, air conditioned and clean. Waiters were super polite and helpful; even helped us to take a group photo as it was a welcome back gathering. Definitely be back...would like to try other food on their menu. continue reading

My all-time favourite place to have brunch after intensive workout is Village Park! Sinful yet irresistible, village park nasi lemak’s star of the dish is the big piece of fried chicken!! The nasi lemak there is really comfort food, where you don’t mind having it every week. However, one thing that hinders me from going there too often is that the place is always packed with people!! Thus, people are always waiting to get a seat and it is quite a hassle looking out for seats. Patience is virtue really applies here if you want to eat good food. The most important component of a plate of nasi lemak is the sambal!! The sambal in Village Park nasi lemak has just the right balance of sweet and spiciness. The sambal isn’t too spicy, so for those people who can’t really eat spicy food, you will be able to eat the whole plate of nasi lemak without having to sweat and drink lots of water. What I love most about Village Park’s nasi lemak is its fried chicken!! The fried chicken has a crispy skin and juicy on the inside. The fried chicken is really finger licking good ! A must try for everyone!! continue reading

Had an early breakfast before going to work. Went to Village Park to settle my nasi lemak craving. True enough, it did not disappoint. Everything was up to expectaion. Rice was fragrant, portion was just nice. What I liked was how despite ordering telur goreng, they did not omit the original telur rebus like other nasi lemak stalls do. Sambal was however a little too salty today. But it was still taste. Tried the kerang and it was very good! Super aromatic and it's a good match with the nasi lemak. I personally prefer to mix it with a little of the sambal and eat them with rice. Everything was pleasent except that the waiter forgotten our drink.  continue reading

Still remain as my favourite place to dine nasi lemak although they kept increasing the price. They really serve the best nasi lemak in town. I would normally order one nasi lemak with ayam goreng and three layers tea. The perfect combo for a meal indeed! It is always crowded even in the late afternoon besides parking lots are limited. Oh and don't forget that although it says it closes at around 6pm, well the nasi lemak always sold out by around 5.30pm, hence you won't be able to dine for dinner there, only breakfast, lunch and tea time available. It is really worth a try! continue reading
