Almost every eatery at Empire Shopping Gallery is pretty expensive; so it's a huge relieve to come across Teh Tarik Place. A no-frills eatery with basically simen flooring, bare walls, inexpensive lighting and basic wooden tables and chairs... Their concept is serious simple... which is good because that also translates to affordable pricing Their prices are only slightly higher than Mamak stalls..which is good becoz not all the time I want to splurge my money when shopping! Their food's pretty good too. Do try out their Mee Goreng Mamak and Nasi Lemak Ayam, along with Hainanese Steam Bread. Yums

Nasi Goreng Kampung & Ribena LimauTeh Tarik served Malay traditional food and also Asian and Local food. This is Nasi Goreng Kampung which is a very traditional Malay style fried rice but it have own special way to cook this dish. The Traditional style Kampung fried rice is in darker colour but this one the colour is not so dark. The taste is typical Kampung fried rice taste, spicy and come with the crispy ikan bilis. This also fried with egg and big prawn, make this dish more tastier than the traditional one. For the drink, the combination is quite special but the taste is a bit weird, sweet with sour, not that nice.
