Went to this SS2 swensen for ice cream to cool down our body temperature as recently the weather been very hot.As everyone knows, SS2 is very difficult to get a parking, it took me about 20 mins to get a parking.Then the restaurant is not very big, but still can seat many peoples.We ordered 5 different scoop of ice cream, got green tea, vanille, yam, coffee and etc.All taste very good but too many for 2 person to try 5 ice cream

This is chicken skewer on a sweet sauce served with rice. The sauce is in red colour, slighty sweet and a bit sourish, but not the typical chinese sweet and sour sauce. There are some herbs and spices in the sauce. The chicken skewer has chicken, and some vegetables on it. I think they first grill the chicken skewer before pouring the sauce on. The chicken was tender and boneless. The vegetables were nice to eat together with the sauce.

Swensen's at this SS2 outlet has been here many years. They were first known for their ice-cream. Over the years, they have developed a menu to add in other food and drinks for a more complete meal served to diners. Lamb Chop with Almond flakes @ RM29.90. The lamb chop came in a huge portion, served with mashed potatoes and gravy suace. The lamb chop was well marinated and doesn't taste the "lamb smell". The lamb was also juicy and eaten with with gravy sauce, it was very nice indeed. The mashed potatoes were alco nice and creamy. Grilled salmon @ RM29.90. The grilled salmon dish came in two big pieces of salmon fish. The sauce for the salmon was poured on top of the salmon. The sauce is a mint sauce. Perhaps the salmon was grilled too long, the salmon fish tasted dry and the meat were rough. The salmon was seasoned with salt and pepper. The mint sauce was creamy in texture and the mint taste was refreshing. Al served with mashed potatoes and gravy on top. The portion was too big for me. Occasionally they will have executive lunch promotion BUY 1 FREE 1 Lunch Treats from 11am to 3pm on Weekdays.The promotion is just applicable to normal ala-carte main course meals. (ice-cream not consider >.<") So you need a twin pax to enjoy the promotion unless you can finish both the main course. Any combination is applicable but you pay at the more expensive ones.The restaurant is clean and bright after renovation. Lack of waiters and the food take quite long to be served.Food was fresh and food presentation was good too.

Whenever I step out of my comfort zone and try out a new restaurant, I would look around and see what the other patrons are having before taking a peek at the menu. So one day I decided to give Swensen's a try after passing by the interesting logo a few times. There were a few patrons and all of them had a sundae in front of them albeit different flavors. I told the waiter I was just looking for something light since I already had a heavy lunch and he recommended Swensen's Banana Split and Earthquake. My friend and I took the latter. Earthquake has eight different scoop of ice-creams and each ice-cream had a different topping that complements the flavor of the ice-cream. Personally I liked the butterscotch ice-cream with a little caramel drizzle and a dollop of cream. It tasted very rich and creamy. We were told that the dry ice in the middle is to chill the ice-cream and decoration purpose.
