Hometown steamboat not only is well known with its steamboat, but its cheesy pot as well. It is like a side dish cost around 19. It is a pot with cheese soup inside. It comes with french fries, fried pork/fish. Hot the cheese and put in the fries inside. The delicious cheese will fill your mouth and super yummy!!! Nice Cheese, but remember not to eat too much. Cheese will kill appetite o.

Hometown steamboat one of the best in kota damansara. It is not a buffet style. One person may need to spend more than RM 20. But it guarantees the freshness of food and tasty soup. The free us some noodles so that we can get full. Having steamboat in big bunch of people here are good! The tomyam soup really tastes awesome. everyone loves it.

Prawn acts very important role in steamboat! Without it, will be tasteless! We love the prawns, meatballs, fish balls, bean curds and many other food! Especially the chicken wings, when it started to serve, finished quickly too!
The restaurant non-stop cooking yummy chicken wings to serve their customers!

Awesome dinner and gathering we were having tonight! Environment not bad too!

coming to Hometown Steamboat, i think one of their specialty that makes them stand out from other steamboat outlets is that they have chocolate fondue! their chocolate fondue is surprisingly worthy at a price approximately RM20++. for a type of dessert that is meant to be shared, i'd suggest having this only when you're eating with a group instead. the chocolate fondue consists of mixed fruit (chopped apple, strawberries and banana), mini chocolate cookies, chocolate love letters (biscuit rolls)

their chocolate fondue is surprisingly worthy at a price approximately RM20++. for a type of dessert that is meant to be shared, i'd suggest having this only when you're eating with a group instead.

the chocolate fondue consists of mixed fruit (chopped apple, strawberries and banana), mini chocolate cookies, chocolate love letters (biscuit rolls), marshmallows, sliced bread pieces and two flavours (minimum) of ice cream.

the fruits were, frankly speaking, not frozen and cold, while the biscuits and marshmallows given in a small portion. but then again, for such a cheap price, i think you get what you pay for.

the ice cream are also plain ones, that vary accordingly. on certain days they might give you a different flavor.

on a particular weekend, my sister decided to treat all of us to dinner. we met up at that night's venue, which was Hometown Steamboat. this is my second time eating here, but my family's first time. the place is really crowded by 6pm, so its really advisable to come early or book first so that you would not waste your time waiting for a seat. the restaurant is rather small for a steamboat restaurant, despite it being a corner-lot shop. however, visitors can have the option to sit inside or outs

the restaurant is rather small for a steamboat restaurant, despite it being a corner-lot shop. however, visitors can have the option to sit inside or outside instead. the waiters were quite attentive and very willing to add extra soup base for us.

we ordered two soup base, one being herbal soup and another tomyam soup. both bases were quite flavourful, although i would prefer the tomyam one as it has a great kick to your tatsebuds! not recommended for beginners yet, you might not stand its spiciness. the herbal soup was also quite okay, though a bit bland if compared to tomyam.

the ingredients we ordered came at a relatively small portion so be warned if you are eating in a large group, you might need to order for more portion depending on how many pax. the meat is, however, fresh. i recommend ordering the seafood too, they're quite worth it.

the meal was quite affordable except for the drinks so keep that in mind that you should minimize the drinks or try ordering a jug of drink to share instead.

usually i come here will ordered their orange juice as the drinks is really fresh orange.
