I`m a steamboat lover especially those place that with unlimited pork slice to serve. There is a lot of steamboats / shabu shabu in Puchong. This Restaurant Shabu Shabu use to be one of my favourite place to dine in whenever I think of eating steamboat. You don`t have to share your pot with others, they provide you one pot for yourself. They just serve one kind of soup and you can put in those vegetables or meat to make the soup sweeter / tastier such as those ingredient in ABC soup or vegetable soup. You can have unlimited pork slice or beef slice you want, all you need to do is request from them. It won`t put around the table. The meat taste nicer when you dip it with the sauce. It is just some normal sauce made with oil, soy sauce, fried onion and onions.Same as others steamboat, there will be lots of choices for you to choose as well. Price is consider reasonable since every things / foods price is increasing. I`m sure that if you are a steamboat lover like me, surely you will eat a lot when you go for steamboat buffet, right? As the price for adult shall be RM32 and as for children above 110cm shall be charge for RM18 since they will have a pot for them self also. Think steamboat and it’s normally hot pot being placed in the center of the table with a tank of gas underneath the table. In Restaurant Shabu Shabu, I experience steamboat buffet the relaxing style. No need to get up on and off to get steamboat ingredients. Just stay put and wait for the ingredients to come to you on their spinning belt. And what happens when you dislike everyone sticking their chopsticks into the same pot? Then don’t share the pot. Restaurant Shabu Shabu has got individual pots with electrical stove at every seat. So each seat has got one pot and you can choose your soup, either chicken soup or tom yum flavor.Next dipping sauces would accompany each pot upon seated. The sauce comes with both chili sauce which is tantalizingly spicy and a soy sauce which also has lots of chopped spring onion, sesame seeds and fried shallots. Also, every item is spinning on the belt with very small portion. This ensures us to get to try everything on the belt. And speaking of everything on the belt, it has almost everything you can name. I didn’t take photos of all that is on the belt, but I took a few that I ate.I especially love the ABC soup with few ingredients. Kinda cool to make your own ABC soup whilst steamboat-ing.Of course please not forget my favourite vegetable which can be quite rare in some steamboat restaurants. The chrysanthemum leaves, also called “tang oh’’ if I am not mistaken.Apparently there are some fried stuff you can munch on during cooking time. As well as sesame baby octopus. continue reading

The shabu-shabu offered here is quite delicious. The soup is of light chicken stock soup. There are two sauces that they serve, the spicy chilli, and the sweet brown sauce with fried onions and spring onions. What I normally do is mix the both of them together to create a union of delicious spicy sweet sauce that goes well with all the ingredients that they offer. On the conveyor belt, there are many choices of delectable morsels to choose from, such as processed fish-based products, a huge variety of greens and vegetables, beef and lamb slices as well as egg and noodles. To start off, I would normally have half a corn cob, some tomatoes, onions and potatoes to sweeten the soup. Then I'll throw in whatever food items that I feel like having. The waitresses will also make their rounds, offering paper thin slices of pork, as well as fried items such as fried sausages, fried fuchuk, and my personal favourite of fried sui kow. If I missed them, or they run out during their rounds, orders can be placed and they will reserve for you the next round. Slushy drinks are free flow as well as their ice cream. Definitely a great place to stuff yourself silly. continue reading

Went there for dinner, i love this place because it is buffet style, but you will need to reserve your seats first or you'll be in a crazy long queue The price is affordable, whole the food is just normal which you can find it in the supermarket...fishballs...meatballs...vegetables..all the common steamboat stuffs..there are a few varieties of drinks and ice-cream, unlike some shabu-shabu restaurant which only serve hot Chinese tea.. continue reading
