There was several stalls selling poh pia at pasar malam chow yang and this is the one that im going to try. They were selling 2 types of poh piah, the original flavour which cost RM 1.70 and the fried poh piah which cost RM 1.80. For the original poh piah, you can choose to add chilli sauce inside it or without as they will wrap the poh piah on the spot. I am giving a try on both types of the poh piah. For the original flavour which wrap with soft poh piah skin, the taste is quite good and better if you had it fresh once you bought it. You can taste the crispy onion and fresh vegetables while bite it. However for the fried poh piah, the taste wasn’t good at all. I think they had put it there for a long time before selling . There is a weird oily taste of the poh piah skin which make the poh piah taste worst. Sorry to say that but I will suggest people to go for the original flavour pohpiah instead of the fried one. continue reading
