A sleepy afternoon calls for a visit here to podgy to get my caffeine fix. I was also interested in giving their chai latte a try, in which they had an option of soy milk as an alternative to dairy milk for those who are lactose intolerant. Presentation wise, their chai tea latte was served in a fancy teapot and accompanied alongside with a small cup of honey for those who need that extra sweetness. Taste wise, it was delicious and aromatic from the blend of black tea and Indian spices used.I was piqued by their salted egg yolk brownie which was crispy on the outside but soft in the interior. It was simply decadent however I felt that the saltiness could be enchanted a tad bit more.Moving on, the saving grace was that piccolo latte which I found amazing! That piccolo was sufficient to give a caffeine jolt to my body. The coffee delivered a medium body, nuttiness and chocolaty finish.

I heard about this place, when I went to Fatbaby Ice-cream, which was opened for only 4 weeks in Subanya Jaya SS15. I heard that Fatbaby supplied ice-cream to Podgy and the Banker. It happens that this cafe is in a residential place, and located at the row in front of the Bulldog Pub in Jalan Sri Hartamas 8. It is a cosy place with a lot of lighting and sunshine penetrating the glass windows. My friend ordered the French Toast which is so full of maple syrup. The French Toast is considerably better than the rest I have tried especially in hotel buffet breakfast. My friend ordered the mocha where the heart was beautifully designed on the froth. I ordered a cappucino (RM 10) which tasted like any normal cappucino.

Podgy & The Banker有几面一大片的落地玻璃窗门。清晨，阳光随意的透过玻璃洒在木桌子上，好舒服。点了杯摩卡，两个人分享。另外再点了两份早餐，Avocado & Chicken Sandwich 和 Bruschetta with Ham and Eggs。Mocha （RM10）巧克力和咖啡都是我的最爱。两者加起来，就是这杯好好喝好浓郁的摩卡啦~另外，算是领教了电视剧里说的高手拉花，就是在你喝了咖啡后拉花依然保持不变！好强的技术。我本来以为这是电视剧乱吹出来的呢。Avocado & Chicken Sandwich （RM15）Avocado加上鸡肉，面包是烘烤过的。咬下去有淡淡的果香味，吃起来健康不油腻，好好吃呢~！Bruschetta with Ham and Eggs （RM12）美美的太阳蛋底下，各有一片Ham和Bruschetta。边吃边随意的翻看杂志，一个美好的早晨，就这样在美食和咖啡香里度过啦~

Here offers few cakes such as banana cake, carrot cake and orange cake. Personally I prefer banana cake so I take it as my tea time refreshment. It tastes good with authentic banana favor (not the chemical one). I heard the cakes are always selling fast.

A potential household name for KL's coffee buffs, Podgy & The Banker has more to offer than merely a fun moniker; this cafe serves caffeine with a kick.Sumatran Mandheling Kuda Mas coffee beans form the heart of a lovable latte here.Our macchiato looks mildly melancholy; strange, considering how cheerful this cafe seems. Though maybe it's because Lana Del Rey's playing in the background. Sandwiches, pastries, cakes & everything else associated with a full-fledged hangout will likely be made available in the days to come.
